Agree! The first two who have only been open a month but took offence at everything just baffle me! Surely it’s a perfect opportunity to fine-tune the businessive been watching - its been good but i still dont get why people go on that show and then dismiss most feedback / get the hump when people arent fawning over their (usually mediocre) breakfasts.
Yes, that’s the only one I’d stay at too. Loved that place & expect they’d be great hosts. Those ‘glamping’ sites leave me cold!Too much glamping, didn't like any of them!! Would stay at the fishing lodge, breakfast looked good!
Absolutely, I agree 100% cats on worksurfaces is a no.I will start with tonight, I am an animal lover, would cope with a well behaved dog in the breakfast room (or other dining room) but would not be happy with a cat walking over all the surfaces
Also maybe they could offer two sizes of breakfast and adjust the price? Then it is up to customer how hungry they are and willing to spend.
Agreed, there was just too much wood panelling to cope with. Mr L reckoned that BridieGlampingDay2 was sly. I did clock the fact that she had a goat though.Too much glamping this week - found it quite boring.
That was one place I didn't understand! It would have been easy to build another bathroom so each site had their own bathroom, and open air cooking??surely you'd have a cover?Agreed, there was just too much wood panelling to cope with. It would also have been helpful if she had at least provided a cup of tea in the morning, instead of gloating away in her nice warm kitchen. That was one place I didn't understand! I know, she really came across as quite smug, and she bleddy won!!!It would also have been helpful if she had at least provided a cup of tea in the morning, instead of gloating away in her nice warm kitchen.
Otherwise, oh yes she was as sly as they come, somehow managed to do zilch at breakfast time whilst others shopped, prepared, cooked and served breakfast and somehow managed to get great scores for the same, if it wasn’t so crafty I would almost applaud
Apologies for quoting myself but I haven't watched payment day yet and from skim reading these posts I thought the fishing lodge won, they really should have in my opinionI think the right place won this week.
I agree, the fishing lodge was the nicest venue and the facilities, welcome and general ambiance seemed the best.Apologies for quoting myself but I haven't watched payment day yet and from skim reading these posts I thought the fishing lodge won, they really should have in my opinion
Totally. Her and her goat!It would also have been helpful if she had at least provided a cup of tea in the morning, instead of gloating away in her nice warm kitchen.

She seemed very against the idea. Also, maybe separate the toilets/basins and showers - it's a bit foul to have to go in after someone's morning evacuations. The suite was also manky, the toilet was pink and the basin blue. That was one place I didn't understand! Yep Tina and Raqueeb, TV goldBack to repeats again! But this week's is hilarious, really grumpy woman on there!
I know did you watch last week's about the beans in a ramekin, he wanted them on them on a plate, just tip them on yourself!!!Yep Tina and Raqueeb, TV gold
In other places on social media they take the show so seriously, some have lists of every utterance, deep sighs and comments about bacon, don’t let me get started on the beans on the plate .v. ramekin debate.
Yes tell me about it,I know did you watch last week's about the beans in a ramekin, he wanted them on them on a plate, just tip them on yourself!!!
I'm so glad I'm not on Facebook! Some folks have too much time on their hands if they're debating about beans!Yes tell me about it,
On Facebook there must have been 30 separate threads on this very subject, not exaggerating.
How is it humanly possible for this to be of anything more than passing interest. Am of the opinion that starting threads off like that for some is a gateway to being nasty and judgmental about people they don’t know.
They did away with the village stocks these days FIAB is their go-to place
It gets very heated and combative on occasion, if only our politicians showed such passionI'm so glad I'm not on Facebook! Some folks have too much time on their hands if they're debating about beans!
I do recall beanramekingate and yes, it's very much an important topic. I haven't seen a framed breakfast award being boasted about nor the certificate on the dining area wall (complete with 4 or 5 poorly affixed stars). It gets very heated and combative on occasion, if only our politicians showed such passion

Does anyone remember the one where the male partner was a film extra and handed each of the couples a signed photograph at the end? I think I took a screen shot - will look.
