Firstly, pet tax because well, it’s owed.

A quick skim of the the last thread tells me we all need to be more tunnel dog. Ninnies are having a torrid time.

I booted myself off the thread because I was turning into a broken record at home about my neighbour and I didn’t want to bore you all. Great news! We’ve made up! I’ve joined the Tory party, sold the house and donated the proceeds to them because she persuaded me that Rishmate was such a good egg.

duck that tit. We are going to sell because it’s been on our radar and she was the final straw. Don’t have a clue where to go. The city is messed up from the HMO situation. Tunnel dog thinks somewhere with people who cuddle and sniff.

Anyway, sending those who are having totally tit times big hugs.( I had a huge argument with a dr on Monday. Cried at him and was told I was getting a bit “stressed”. Don’t they teach empathy in medical school? Obviously not.)

I'm sorry you guys have to move. Moving house is not a fun activity.

PS I'm quite unwell today but I've been having the best chat with my cousin E. She's gone to bed now but we were talking on messenger for hours this morning. Really took my mind off being a sooky sick person.

I was horrified to read you're selling because of neighbour, but quickly read on to see it's been a possibility anyway. Comment from me? No. But I do love the idea of choosing to make a change. Also, when you've moved it'll be much more subtle when MCM and I + avenging animals ride at dawn to egg that foul neighbour's home and face.

I went "to the shops" with the W today. Just normal supermarket shopping, but we had lunch at a local club first. W said words to the effect, "I think lunch is actually free, because we'd spend $20 each more on food shopping if we were hungry AND we won't need dinner." This is the type of logic on which I thrive.

Stopped at library (borrowed an armful of magazines), went to hardware and compared the price of 1 cubic metre of pine mulch with buying 25L bags of pine mulch. Had a heated debate about my ability to wheelbarrow mulch; v use of plastic bags and economy for the 25L supply. Anyway, FYI buying mulch by cubic metre (even including delivery) is 45% the cost of the discount store bags. So if you need me tomorrow, I'll be the woman with wheelbarrow.

Thanks be I took the dog on her big run this morning because all this hilarity means that at 5.15PM ADT, it's FRIDAY NIGHT!

After a huge cup of tea (a King Charles coronation brew from Waitrose WFK how W procured THAT, I'm nearly ready for a non-alcoholic gin and tonic.

I saw the most handsome man today, till operator in Aldi. I've never packed more s l o w l y. His thick black longish hair, and his wicked warm grin + piercings will haunt my dreams tonight. I hope.

tit, sorry. I think that was the perimenopause talking.

But also, last night I dreamed that [very long complicated detail about who what when why in/of dream not written] I saw a Labradoodly style dog who had been given a nose piercing, a huge hoop. I was shocked and disgusted even in my dream.
 
Finally got the universal credit decision which is we get £0 for sept-October.
I’m exhausted with it. They inexplicably took our children off the claim. They said they put the children back on. They did not. We have no housing element. I feel like screaming and crying.
under transitional protection we should have money surely.

The way I get them to reply to me, is to go back thru old journal entries and find one which asks for a reply. I use that box again to say what’s wrong and when will someone contact me? Seems to work for me. Otherwise I can go 6+ weeks with no response to journal messages.

I think you have to ask for a mandatory reconsideration due to them forgetting to include the children.

anyhoo, in much better news, checked my payslip as I saw it was available and I knew we were getting a pay rise, cos y'know, we did vote for it

and this month's pay includes several months of arrears! 🤑

in the words of the interminable temu ads, 🎶I feel so rich! I feel like a billionaire!🎶

nice way to start the weekend and we have pizza for tea 😊

I’ve asked my mp to step in and help. I can’t cope with it all.
 
UC is a nightmare, they’re currently migrating (forcing) disabled people on ESA in support group - statistically the most likely 70%+) to not succeed and most ill/vulnerable and protected income only works in certain circumstances. 2 Months wait for a certified birth certificate (due to age mine must be this as can’t be read) and passport and gp practice now has a sign that says no letter for those migrating dwp must ask, which they don’t (gp surgery is correct by law no new evidence is needed but dwp expect it).
 
Subject change, I have the most enormous zit on my chin. I'm calling it Mt Vesuvius. Trying not to touch it but I can feel it growing while I'm just sitting here.
I had two lots of greasy Red Rooster chips last week, I think that's what caused it. Ugh.
