@Freda Fandango Me too! I just got 90ml of Lacoste Touch Of Pink for £35 from there. Was cheaper than the 50ml bottle bizarrely

I love Touch of Pink too! I was spending a fortune trying to get something I really liked and there's nothing nicer than wafting something that brings back lovely memories.
I keep sniffing my Ghost on my arm

Love this one! It’s always super cheap at the airport too. This thread has just made me realise that I just have very basic high street taste in perfume!Recently bought a bottle of Tommy Girl; transported back to the 90s
Every expensive one I ever test I find too weird or too strong.

Yes me too! I was slightly wary if posting my Ghost find as I thought gosh that's basic but you like what you like!

My sister wears it, it’s lovely. I don’t think it matters how much something costs, a nice smell is a nice smell. Plenty of highly expensive perfumes use cheap horrible ingredients and smell of nothing but iso e and ambroxan!
I'm awaiting my personal perfumes arrival any day now. One is along the lines of the old Lait Sucre and the other is a foodie randomness from my imagination with coffee, bakery and incense aspects. I have so many more more I want to do still.
what would you put in a personal fragrance? (I’m not out to steal ideas btw
)

Gosh now you've asked I've mulled it over.
I would love to like the more winter incensy fragrances and that's what I was wasting my money on. I've realised that they give me headaches and it's citrus/floral that suit me.
I guess the basic bergamot, orange, white flowers sort of thing. As posted above I currently smell of Turkish delight so whatever makes that up lol. Oh and sweet candy floss.
Gawd knows what that would end up like

I really enjoy ghost. It's quite complex in my humble opinion. Bottle is so big and clunky though

Where did you get the personal perfume?
Sweet, vanilla scents seem to suit me the most and I go through phases where I crave them but my true love is (also sweet) white flowers and musk.
Something like Giorgio Armani My Way, Lush Lust and Gucci Bloom combined would be perfect.
My other would be pure marshmallow.
Another would be something that makes me smell like cake batter or cookie dough.

The absolutely lovely Mara Fox at lovepotionmagickalperfume offers private editions from time to time. You don’t get endless choices of ingredients, I think 4 currently, but I think she tweaks it to add in anything deemed necessary for it to work. They come as a roll on oil as basic but you can pay extra for sprays and also you can add in a pheromone blend if you’re into that. I imagine there would be something already available at the moment that is cake based, in fact, there’s someone else’s pe: princess pleaser potion: Ingredients: Strawberries, Black Raspberries, Buttery Vanilla, Vanilla Cake, Vanilla Creme, White Tea, a wee drop of fleshy Orchid.

Perfume can put me into a good mood on the dreariest of days, it really boosts my wellbeing having a lovely wafting fragrance

Sorry my post should have read H&M for that orange blossom one. It’s nice but gone in an hour, really poor performer. Body sprays have more longevity. I hope you find something you like anyway!
