I'm going to hell for this but this girl.

She was 485lb and lost 312lb 'naturally'...hit her lowest for all of 3 minutes and since then has been gaining very fast but lying about it.

Girl has earned 100s of thousands via Dietbet ... Once earning $100,000 in just one game alone!!

Yet now, she's clearly back to 350/400lb ... She only comes on insta once every 3/4 weeks to share the next diet bet...there's rumours of drug and alcohol abuse.

She's been in hospital. Multiple organ failure..at age 31.. apparently from dehydration...posted one picture and a gofundme with a 200,000 goal!!!
She won't of had the hospital bill yet, but has stated a few times she has no insurance....ok but she's earn over a million this last 2-3 years...

So far go fund me is at 45000 donated...in like 10 hours. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
 
This was very sussed from the first post... In the space of 2 days she went from apparently being intubated, in ICU and organ failure to being home and like you said the GoFundMe for 200,000. I've no doubt she was unwell but putting it down to dehydration and how quickly she was home asking for money just screams scam of some kind
 
I am so glad you started this thread! I have been looking on the american sites but not getting very far. Lots of people commenting on her insta that they are dubious. Lexi has now posted stories of herself speaking and she does look ill and like she has been through it. I can’t help thinking this has been caused by drugs or alcohol….
The go fund me is in bad taste and like you say- where has all her diet bet earnings been going?!

I don't understand why she didn't have insurance? I realise it's expensive in the US, especially if you're not employed, but if you have earnings through Instagram and Diet Bets why on earth would you not invest in it?!

When she's earned 10(0)s of thousands of pound per dietbet till this last year where she's *only* earned thousands you'd think she'd of at least got a cheap old insurance right?

Yes! She has 2700 pages worth of tattle on gomiblog but it's private for members only

Exactly! I've no doubt she's ill, but she's 🤑🤑🤑 the minute she got ill I bet!

I tried to sign up to the gomi blog but it wouldn’t accept my email- thats how invested i was in this 😂😂
 
I've followed her for a few years. She did incredibly well to lose the amount of weight she did just through diet and exercise and in that respect was very inspirational.

BUT

She's gained a lot of weight in the last couple of years, I think gyms being closed due to Covid/being stuck at home had a big effect...and tbh many of us gained weight at that time too. However it's felt like she was in complete denial about it, she used to when she was losing post about how her weight went up and down but she hasn't addressed this ongoing gain at all. She has made a lot of money from Dietbet over the years, if I was her I would have spent some of it on counselling, a nutritionist, personal trainer etc to either make sure that she didn't gain or to help her once the gain started.

I have read a few times that she is a very heavy drinker and has been for years, and there seems to be some speculation that this illness is alcohol related. It's sad whatever the cause as she is fairly young, and had quite a deprived/ difficult upbringing which probably left her ill equipped to plan ahead and use her money sensibly rather than pissing it all away.
 
So glad someone made a thread as I used to read Gomiblog about Lexi but literally gave up reading as she basically stopped posting two years ago when she started seriously gaining back weight.

I had a look at her Instagram page again after seeing this thread and wow! Where are the bills to prove this is the cost? It all seems very shady and she’s being called out in the comments a lot. No doubt she is ill and I wish her a speedy recovery but she would have qualified for Medicaid I believe with everything covered! This screams of a scam! Mind you her family shilled everything they could from her !
 
Ha. I was just googling about her being a scammer and of course there’s a thread on here about her. Super dodgy. The whole thing. Have followed her for a really long time and always admired the weight loss journey

Reddit rumours are that she has a serious alcohol problem and has done for a long time which obv would tie in with maybe needing a transplant 😬

(sorry can see this has been talked about here now but posted so I didn’t lose the thread 😂)

100% wall of silence about her gaining the weight back but still cashing in on dietbet! She was at her smallest before her surgery and then it was all down hill. Her poor husband when the world (Insta) found out she had sent pictures of her 🐱 to another guy and he stuck by her. Personally I think she went a little nutty from finally being as small as she wanted to be and thought she could ‘do better’
 
She definitely does have a drink issue. Many times, even back when she was still losing weight pre tummy tuck she'd post stories falling all over been really rude and slurring at like 3-4am which would all disapear the second she sobered up.

what?! I never knew this! How did people find out? Did she address this?
 
I forgot the stuff about her sending photos to that guy, remember reading about it on Reddit.

TBH I think her husband stayed for the money, I don't think either of them work just live off her DietBet earnings and other money.

I don't think she's near 500lb as she was when she started but I'd say she's easily 350, so has gained probably half back (at least).
