I've been thinking about that. And I honestly believe it is because she is an affluent blond blue eye young white girl. She has that cover girl look (and is quite pretty) and because of that people will believe anything she shills. Her more "seasoned" viewers just admire her because they 100% believe there is a similar moral value system and they all value "good quality" and "tasteful" things.

Maybe in a less consumerism focused life, she would be different. But, she is alas like so many other "influencers" (that word always makes me queasy).

I think you nailed it. I don’t think she’s that pretty, but white women really only need them be thin to be considered pretty.

Was just catching up on the last thread and you all had me in stitches.
 
It has all been going on. The anti lydia crowd are coming for josie. Ouch.

It waa actually really odd and hilarious to see josie actually appear to buy herself something (with her OWN money) for a change. Wowee. Wonder if ahe will do a whole video on how great lydia and her tanning products are.

Also, fake tan- not the first thing when i think of Cotswold ladies 🤔

Ahh tashenka- you do make us all laugh in these uncertain times. 😂

Well, at least she hasn't gained (m)any new followers recently. Her daily vlogging doesn't do anything for her. Views are going down, too.

Maybe Josie was obliged/expected to buy the kit from Lydia. Don't follow Lydia so I'm not clear on what it exactly is. Josie maybe wasn't interested in the first place and only got it so as to look good. Let's see what happens... :O

She really thinks her followers were born yesterday . Well some Karen’s might be .. 😀

Youtubers CAN choose how many ads they put in , the only thing they CAN’T choose is what adverts go in .

She needs to create ad spaces in order for ads to be there .
It makes my blood boil how she puts her sweet facade on “ ou , darlings I have no idea why there are so many ads , I don’t put them in there “ ...

You know, I didn’t even know this. How does she think she’s going to get away with that? Why is it so hard for her to be honest? Is it because she wants us to think they’re living this charmed life when really they’re just “normals” in terms of their lifestyle? Or is she just a pathological liar?!
