that doesn’t really make sense cause i thought the marketplace was only launched last year? and indiyah was the face of it. and she announced her deal not long after gemma’s, i’m no expert but how do they make a deal/contract that quick? i thought it took a little longer than that

That isn’t true. Indiyah had already been working with them before Gemma’s deal was announced.

This is not true. Indiyah had already signed her deal with PLT when Gemma's was announced. Also I'm pretty sure Gemma was upset at PLT because they announced her deal prematurely.

Islanders are supposed to wait a month after the finale to announce deals and I think with Gemma's it hadn't been a month exactly.

She was also upset that PLT didn't seem to have her back during the backlash despite the fact that Indiyah had already signed with them.
