Tbh I canā€™t say Iā€™m surprised by the comments due to the way itā€™s all played out - Gemma did look very cold in the break up, with PLTs and her management tweets not helping and the mails article on the break up issuing like 2 mins or so after Gemmaā€™s announcement and with Lucas Insta story hours later following essentially saying he was blind sided by Gemmaā€™s break up announcement. Because of the way the break up was announced and played out, Gemma didnā€™t come across well, whereas Luca came across as the guy who had his heart broken and was the hurting victim. On top of that, Luca is suddenly hanging out with all then islanders whereas he never really did when he was with Gemma, which has made people think that it was because of her and her like of having a small circle and not partying that he never socialised with them.

I think itā€™s because of all of that that people are (1) happy that heā€™s now out and about and (2) hating on Gemma - thatā€™s why the comments in the Dm are very pro Luca and anti Gemma.

tbh, Luca has had a role to play in all of this. If he never essentially said that he was blindsided , I donā€™t think Gemma would have gotten as much hate as she has!

Gemma definitely played the break up wrong. In general the comments have always been pro guys in most cases. Look at the Jacques love he gets on there and in most fb fan groups.
 
Lol I know Iā€™ve said this before but honestly the number of stories I see on Instagram everyday saying that there is something happening between Luca and Gemma and that an announcement will be made shortly and that the weird Stans know something we donā€™t know is mind blowing!

also, separate topic, not sure if Paige and Ekin get along at all! I really donā€™t think they do. They never interact on socials which is funny because Paige generally likes everyoneā€™s posts. Then after the whole Max clip was put out there about Ekinde, Paige started following Max and liked some clip of what he said about Ekinde. Iā€™ve just a feeling that those two girls arenā€™t friendly anymore.

I think we have 2 or 3 groups of friendship now for girls who are close. Tasha and Paige, Tasha and Indiyah ,, Paige, Antogni and Danica ,, Coco and other casa girl. I think gemma and ekin friendship is more of colleague level not deep which fans want. If we look closely not through our biases, ekin in villa seemed to get along with girls from the edit that was shown to us. But it seems no girl is friends with her, I don't think it's just about competition because few would rather be faking their friendship with ekin to get more clout. There is more than meets the eye about ekin. These islands know something about ekin that we don't. Some like Dami were right about Lemma even during August. Since ekin is very popular and has very toxic fans, no islander will even try to spill the beans on them

I completely agree with you about those three friendship groups and that the other girls are not close with Ekin and that Gemma and Ekin arenā€™t friendly anymore, more like colleagues.

Paige was on gk barrys podcast when she said about the fake couples and gk barry is maxs best friend so as well the the information max knows himself i imagine gk might have told him more as well from paige

And Gk Barry and Max are also very good friends with those Biggs brothers who were also on the Ibiza trip with Davide and one of whom responded ā€œliar actressā€ in the comments section of the Ekinde/Max clip! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I love the drama of it all!

paige and GK know each other well as theyare in the same management.
