Yea I can’t say I was ever their biggest fan but recently she and Andrew have become insufferable. You’d wonder what they talk about in private “what tik tok will we do tomorrow”, “how many likes did you get” “let’s do a mr and mrs challenge and film our day for YouTube at the same time”. Idk, it’s just a bit much and way more than what the others are doing?! But as I said she seems to be doing well so guess it working for her.

I do also wonder what will happen when interest in them fades over the next couple months. Given she’d cry every time she was in the bottom 3, I’ve no doubt she’ll be crying to Andrew about it and for that reason I do think she could end up breaking up with him once interest in them dies and she will find someone else. Or else they’ll go to the other extreme and be engaged by like March to make sure people stay interested despite the new batch of love islanders.

I just came across it and I saw someone claim that all the islanders this season are jealous of Ekin and Davide. They also called everyone bitter 🙈. Someone else said the islanders of these past three seasons will all be washed up in a three years while Ekinde will be the most successful, married and with a child.

Are these 12 year olds writing this? I mean truly that's the only explanation

It wouldn’t surprise me if he did, I think people especially the teens get very very very attached to these islanders and it’s really unhealthy. We’ve seen it in the Luca stans and their hate directed towards Gemma. At the end of the day none of the islanders care about their supporters & Max didn’t name Ekin & Davide by name. People need to just calm own and realise that it really isn’t that important.

Agree & not being smart..but Max loaded the gun by saying the couple were papped out running together..so he did everything but say their actual names which is probably worse!

I’m not trying to say he’s in the right at all here & I should’ve made that more clear, apologies.

I just think regardless of everything, both sides need to put out statements saying they’re going to sort it all out behind closed doors and discourage young impressionable stans from taking justice into their own hands.

Saying a couple didn’t seem genuine is not worthy of getting hate from strangers, just as defending yourself & your partner from salacious claims is also not worthy of getting hate from strangers.

It’s just really not that deep and it worries me that so many people can take it so seriously.

couldn’t agree more! It’s crazy how unhinged some fans are, it’s quite concerning. I’ve no doubt Ekin is aware that a lot of her fans are unhinged and volatile.
 
Off topic but Amy Hart’s instagram is doing my head in atm. That ad for a “stretch mark range” is horrid, I don’t agree with people advertising things as stretch mark preventers when firstly there’s nothing wrong with stretch marks and secondly you can’t bloody prevent them!! They’re genetic and almost inevitable when you consider how much you literally stretch.

Yes, but when that guy's in a very happy relationship, it's very disrespectful to continuously pursue them especially when their girl's told them multiple times to leave her man alone. Some people are too thick and fame-hungry to get the hint!
 
Has anyone noticed that Davide's been shedding followers on Instagram? He's losing roughly 1000 followers a day! Shocking considering him and Ekin won the last series and had their own show broadcast a few weeks ago. Looks like fans attentions are now turning to the new batch of Love Islanders coming in January.

Yes, all of them are but Davide seems to be losing the most! I can see him dipping below 1 million in about a year's time! Winter Love Island's a huge blow to all the Love Islanders because it'll just saturate the brand which means less attention will be on a couple or one person. The current crop only have about 2 weeks left in the limelight!

I very much doubt he will lose a million in a year, otherwise where would Andrew and Dami be? Tbh I think his following was inflated, post LI hype for the winners, ekin fans just wanting ekin content. He doesn’t really post very much so
I can see why they’re unfollowing. He’ll probably settle around 1.6m or something like that. He doesn’t strike me as the type that cares. But yeah it’s a bit of a bummer for the ones that do, I can’t help feeling another winter love island is just gonna saturate the influencer market .
