No! 🤣 I'm just pointing out that Love Island hype isn't what it used to be. Look at the likes of Andrew and Dami who came forth and third respectively in the last series of the show. They haven't got any brand deals and their follower count on Instagram's very low considering they both reached the final. I know a lot of people who were obsessed with the show a few years ago who've moved on from it and don't follow any of the current crop of Love Islanders thus won't have a clue who they are or what they're up to and unfollowed most of the contestants who were on the show years ago. I think so much has happened in the world that people have better and more important matters on their mind than Love Island.

You're right. Love Island's reached it's peak. Many people have moved on from the show. People really don't care about the show or the couples on it anymore. Same happened with Big Brother, first few seasons were very popular, then it reached a peak and went downhill. Apart from Alison Hammond, none of the Big Brother contestants are relevant or appear in the press often or at all. I suppose that's the nature of reality TV. Love Island's on a downward spiral now and I predict the spark from the show will completely fizzle out within the next few years.

There were only two episodes and those have already aired almost a month ago.
I don't think there will be a second season, either. Unless there are other joint future projects yet to be revealed, there's nothing stopping them from going their seperate ways.

Yes, it'll go the same way as Big Brother and The X Factor. Nobody really gives a damn about the contestants anymore and that's reflected in the IG follower counts of the latest batch of contestants. Despite winning and having his own TV show, Davide hasn't reached 2 million followers on IG. Considering this and the fact that boys don't tend to get as many followers as the girls, male contestants like Luca and Jacques have done very well. I honestly think Ekin-Su will be the last Love Islander to reach 3 million followers. The return of Winter Love Island will just dilute the Love Island brand and the amount of clout and press attention the contestants receive after the show.

That's so true. Post-Love Island success for the couples isn't what it used to be so nobody has a chance of reaching Tommy and Molly's popularity. I agree about your point regarding, Ekin-Su. She'll be the last ever contestant from the show to reach 3 million followers. Has anyone noticed the Love Islanders from the recent seasons hardly do any nightclub PA's? Maybe nightclubs have realised the hype from the show isn't what it used to be and don't make much if any profit from hosting PA's for them. I think the lack of nightclub PA's for the recent contestants is reflected in the fact that as you said nobody really cares about Love Island anymore.

Adam, Danica and Billy did a load of those nightclub PAs. I just don’t think the other contestants were that pushed about them.

Yes, they did but nowhere near as many as contestants from previous seasons when Love Island was at its peak. I'm in no doubt, the others from that season would've grabbed the offer of PAs with both hands if they hand the chance.

But the three of them did so many of them. Adam was doing one, if not two, per week there for awhile. And clearly the clubs would have approach others from that season before Danica and Billy!!!! Like they’d clearly have approached the final 4 couples, Paige and Jacques. I honestly think they didn’t want to do them. (Actually Did Dami and Indiyah do one or two now that I think about it?). Like can you imagine Luca or Andrew doing a club appearance?! And clearly Jacques wasn’t in the right mind frame when he came out of loveisland to be doing them. And they are so below Ekin - she’s got bigger fish to fry!

People are landing bigger deals these days so don’t need to do club PAs.

Only a few people get big deals after the show nowadays. Jacques left very early in the last series so it's unsurprising that he hasn't done any nightclub PAs. Most of the contestants, even those who reach the final like Andrew and Dami who were in the final with Ekin, don't get any brand deals so I'm sure they'd jump at the chance to do nightclub PAs. Love Island 'fame' isn't like it was previously. This year's contestants only have a few weeks left in the limelight then the press and fan attention will be on the new winter Love Islanders from the middle of January onwards.

I don’t agree…Cleary the clubs would have went to say Andrew and Tasha over Billy or Danica for a club appearance. I’ve no doubt they were approached but turned it down.

You serious???? 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Who on earth's gonna go to a nightclub to see Andrew and Tasha???? 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Andrew's a very nice guy but he's not nightclub PA material and Tasha hasn't got a personality and would just bore the clubbers to death so of course nightclubs are going to choose Danica and Billy over Andrew and Tasha because despite not being anywhere near the final, those two have bags of personality especially Billy who's a proper cheeky chappy/Jack-the-lad!

Lol I think we’ll have to agree to disagree…I would think young 18 year old girls would prefer to get their photo taken with Andrew and Tasha and see Tasha dance than Billy!

Or would have gotten Dami to do them than Billy or Danica. I doubt many girls would be running to see Billy.
 
It was brunette that max mentioned the guy said he wanted wasnt it ? Heatworld have just posted a tiktok on there page of when they had davide and ekin on .and they asked ekin was davides celeb crush is and she said basically anyone brunette and goodlooking 😆 i dont know if they posted it for drama or not but just with him saying brunette 😆
