The absolute hype I have for Croatia and what they may or may not do at the live shows

There seems to be a rise in alternative rock-y type entries which is interesting. Is the genre making a bit of a comeback?
The thing is I do love Croatia's tho 😂 so agreed there it's maltas I'm confused about when they were such better songs to chose from and Denmarks unless it's just not my taste I'm not sure but they've got a couple of months to progress it so let's see

Do you mean the official ones from eurovision? If so yes I signed up and I have had a couple but they don’t send them out often. They send a couple when Rylan did the draw but haven’t had one since.

Two documentaries for May and who’s producing the postcards

Did anyone sign up for the email newsletters? I never received them😭
their monthly newsletter always end up in the junk folder so maybe check there? other than that just the allocation draw info so far

The account seems to have been very accurate with previous leaks, though there’s obviously some disagreement about whether the UK people are the actual presenters or part of some other Eurovision project

The Ukrainian presenters seem to have been revealed already given there’s another article naming them both (I think I posted it before?)

As for Rina:

There was some other tweet about the background colour being a colour that was used in one of the Eurovision posts but I can’t find it

i saw the red background tweet too. interesting that reggie yates did top of the pops, but victoria coren mitchell is very marmite from what i know of her? neither of them seem like an obvious choice. assuming she speaks french though bc i always thought mel giedroyc would be front of that queue, especially w her polish (?) heritage

Graham, Hannah,Julia and Alesha will host the final.
Hannah, Julia and Alesha will also host both semi finals.
Graham and Mel will take it in turns to commentate on the Grand Final.
Timur and Sam will host the opening ceremony.
Scott and Rylan will be commentating on the Semi Finals, which are both on BBC One this year

I would’ve loved AJ to have been somewhere, seems a bit random to have her do the draw but not included in the shows

He’s done it for so long I guess he’s earned the right. They might put Rylan in the green room section maybe? Alesha Dixon seems the weird choice but maybe there’s some connection I’m not aware of.

Does AJ have a clash with Big Brother maybe? I know Graham has done it a long time but I always feel his commentary is really out of sync with the fans.

I'm not sure if she does as I'm sure bbuk was moved to the autumn I really don't know what to make of the announcement not sure if I like the line up and Mel sharing commentary with Graham? Not for me I'm afraid

assuming maybe the ebu gave some feedback after the allocation draw in terms of AJ's accent? only reason i can think of tbh, her and rylan worked really well together.

also mel & graham sharing, if the french speaking bit is once votes are in then i guess he'll be hosting performances / commentating results and vice versa.

agree about lack of Ukrainian hosts and randomness of alesha dixon too, and nine hosts does feel a bit overkill!

There’s a real lack of Ukrainian hosts. I know the BBC is paying and whatever but I don’t think that’s a good reason to not have a 50/50 split

I’m now expecting most of the interval acts to be UK based too, though hopefully not
I'm finding it frustrating TBH. I'm also finding it frustrating that people who haven't really had anything to do with Eurovision are being trotted out by the BBC.

I get there's a lot worse of options that could of been chosen but there's a lot better that could of been picked I'm happy with hannah and Julia there's some questionable entries for me as well have a feeling it's not gonna be the best esc ever 😂
