Everything else; hosts, music acts, little informative side bits should all be about Ukraine and not the UK or Liverpool. It should be presented by Ukrainians solely. The UK did not win! Surely I’m not the only one who thinks this?

I'm Irish and I think the UK was robbed last year. I'm glad UK got to host, they deserve it.

Let's face it the song is important but the singer is also a huge factor in winning. Sam is a class act with a fantastic voice.

Mae's song is OK (certainly not the worst) but her live vocals are not in the same league as Sam. I predict the UK will not be anywhere near the top having seen that clip of her.

Sam is something else, he really deserved to win! I feel that getting to host is natural justice for him and the UK.

It's an unusual situation, and I bet there'll be loads of Ukrainian input on the night, the past two semi finals have had a Ukrainian presenter alongside British.
Let's face it, the British pay a lot into the Eurovision funds, so I think it's a bit unfair to say they're hogging it, plus they did win the jury vote.
I would say the UK deserves this and good luck to to them!
Between Olympics and Jubilees and Coronations, there is no better country for putting on a great show! ❤

A lot of countries pay towards it that doesn’t mean they should dominate the night and overtake the winner. Like it or not, or believe the reasons are just or not, the UK did not win! Ukraine did, and cannot host it because it’s too unsafe. The entire event should be about them, not just little tidbits and pity segments… all of it! They won it! Sure there’s been political tactical voting for years, this was no different. The only thing different about it is that they could not physically host it because it’s not safe. I don’t think there should be any UK presenter at all tbh. I think we should all be watching it as though it was televised in Ukraine. There should be nothing British about it whatsoever. Anything to the contrary is just just feelings of being hard done by seeping though.

And as for your last line, I think the UK needs to get over itself tbh.
