Why no Katrina? I thought she'd be a great interval act. Last UK winner. I still love that song and have really nice memories of that time.
 
We may get nil points again this year, I listened to Mae’s song on Spotify, it’s inoffensive bland pop, just like the year before Sam. We’re doomed.
I don't think it's as bad as some songs we've sent in recent years but there's no chance that we'll win. Mid table probably but I haven't heard all the other songs yet to compare it with.
 
Radio 2 play it a lot. I like the start but then I lose interest. It just doesn’t seem to have the oomph for a stage performance. Nice radio pop song at best.
I didn’t really like spaceman but boy it did work well on stage and Sam’s voice was so good live.
Sam is a charismatic performer and came across as a lovely guy. It certainly helped that he has a powerful voice.

Mae is just an average singer IMO. The song is OK if you hear it on the radio but I doubt if she's in the same league as Sam as a live performer.
