some countries who really take Eurovision seriously will always give the jury votes to the best songs tbf, and even when it looks “ political “ sometimes it’s just neighbouring countries having some cross over in tastes and media . It’s the public votes where political likes and dislikes tend to be more pronounced. This year feels like the first time the Uk has put in an act who are genuinely good, plus have a more natural reach outside of the UK ( via his TikTok) .

Even if Sam doesn’t win, we should be so proud of him and his team
