Love this show. It’s just so well directed and acted. In some ways, the characters come second to how it all looks / the general feeling of it.
Thought the opener of S2 E1 was incredible - and I did love a Fez-heavy storyline.
The casting for the younger versions of the characters is 👌🏼

LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I’ve binged it over the last week and just watched the most recent episode this evening!!!!

Great soundtrack. Love the whole feel of it, the way it’s been shot and the dream sequences.

I’ve never watched Zendaya in anything before, I’d heard of her but never seen her in anything but she’s great isn’t she?! She plays the role of Rue so well.

I love the chemistry between Zendaya & Hunter - they have that great natural bond on screen that makes me root for them. Found it uncomfortable watching the motel sex scene with Cal & Jules, he is so creepy and Eric Dane is fantastic is the role - i
Enjoyed his episode and seeing his back story, starts to flesh the character out and things are failing into place.

Sydney Sweeney is mesmerising - I mean yes obviously she is beautiful and has an incredible body but I mean the way she’s so vulnerable and you can see the way she’s playing Cassie so well - the front she puts on when drunk or high and just desperate for love & attention. It’s sort of heartbreaking.

I liked the inital storyline with Kat, when she sort of found that bit of confidence and didn’t give a duck and now the character is sort of lost a bit within the relationship with Ethan. I’m not sure where that’s going?

loved the Fez/Ash back story episode! Love that Fez has that soft side with the way he genuinely cares for Rue and seemed interested in lexi, I hope that storyline is explored more.

I love the sass that Maddy brings! She’s such a bad witch, I love her!!!!!!

I love to hate Nate but I hope we eventually get some sort of redemption from him, he’s so broken and so damaged and I want him to find the good eventually. Do we think he really deep down WAS actually Tyler - that he exposed his real side to Jules even though he was catfishing her to screw her over??

the Mckey character is not returning I’m assuming? Or is he?

I don't get why they have made Sydney's character the way they have, desperate for love/attention when the flashback of her growing up showed that she was the most loved and had the most attention, wouldn't it make more sense for her sister to be the attention bleep?

She mostly had unwanted attention from men though. Her parents spilt up and her Dad eventually left them all for drugs and then her Mum hit the bottle.

I'm quite uncomfortable having a 37yo man write so much naked scenes for teenagers and being it so graphic is weird to me.. Especially when the show is produced by Drake and we know Drake like underaged girls.

Drake wasn’t one of the script writers on the show. He’s barely even an executive producer in the traditional sense from reading various articles about the show.
also - the actors on the show are all adults. Professional actors. Acting. They aren’t underage.

Thanks for the obvious explanation. It's still in a highschool setting with high-school characters. It just off putting. But if people vibe to it, more power to them.


Also finally came across what the blind about Barbie Ferreira was about (nothing iffy or sexual), and it's still alleged, but I understand her position. Not sure if we're allowed to discuss it under spoilers or not.
