I like the show, however the new presenters not so. The BBC pc brigade have been out en force with Steve Brown in the wheelchair. Nothing against him and his incredibly annoying voice but WTF is the point having a house tour by a man in a wheelchair? He can’t go anywhere other than the kitchen and lounge. Plus one minute he’s outside in the garden on the grass then the next he’s wheeling his chair through their cream carpets! And don’t get me started on Briony May 🙉, how do you go from baking cakes to hosting Escape to the country? She’s embarrassing to watch.
 
I’ve had a pointless crush on Alistair Appleton for years😢. Love Jules too but Jonny Irwin always seems to show people houses that don’t really match the criteria or budget then seems irked when they don’t like it😆. Can’t listen to Nicky Chapman, she never says the price properly, like she’s sloshed “five hundred fifty thousand” - no “and”.
 
They actually filmed part of an episode in the village where i live. My mum and brother saw steve outside a house down the road, must've been September time last year. Watched the episode earlier this month i think. When my mum saw him she told my step dad and she took him to see if steve was still there but he wasn't. They did see the camera crew getting some shots of the road down the village. We were hoping to see our car on telly but guess they thought it wasn't posh enough for tv.:ROFLMAO:
 
I just like seeing all the houses.
They didn’t come and film at my neighbours. They were relieved. I was gutted. The production team had asked for accommodation recommendations for the crew on social media and also requested did anyone want to be interviewed for the show about living in the area.
 
Absolutely love this programme. Love Alistair,Jules, Johnny. Nicky's ok. Hated Catherine G back in that day. Loathe when someone sells a small flat but claims 6 beds 5 acres is too small. Or when they haven't even sold their current home!
 
I used to love Escape when it started (20 years ago 😱). I found Catherine Gee smotherable though. I haven't seen it for years but I must have watched it at some point in the last decade because there are several presenters I remember finding really annoying. I did like Alistair.
I like a bit of property porn. Always dreaming 😆.
