I reckon it's a long lost/estranged daughter with Al. An affair is too obvious.

I cannot stand the character Harriet. What are the script writers in?! For an ex-police officer and current vicar they have written some absolutely BS story lines for her.

There cant be any comeback from an affair having, body burying ex polis vicar? Surely she has to leave one way or another?

I did think that at first but when he was on the phone all like 'and I got us a 4 post bed...' it sort of put me off that 😂

Debbie is interesting, I didnt realise she was coming back so soon? I read it's either Andrea, Belle or Dawn!? Which I dont think he has ever even spoke to any of them??

He was so 'no! I'm with Priya!' When Chas tried it on with him!? God knows, I'm far too invested 🤣

Anyway whoever he is cheating with if he is will be a major downgrade because Priya is unbelievable 🤩 although she must be cold cos she's always got her puppies out!

Was Debbie even still in it when Amorous Al arrived in the village?
 
It has, I don’t think it will turn out to be her, don’t think their paths have crossed. Curious now to see who it is,I would laugh if it’s Jessie, on second thoughts no I wouldn’t, she was an awful actress, hope we never see her again!!
 
I’m sure Debbie had already left by the Al came into it. She’s been gone for the best part of 2 years I think. But they must of met in Scotland because I remember his car broke down while he was there and Charity gave him Debbie’s number as she’s a mechanic and had a garage up there. And last night he told Kim that she didn’t know the other woman which I don’t think she would know Debbie but he could be lying of course.

Wasnt the actress on maternity leave and then because of covid had to delay coming back when she was originally scheduled to do so?


Also, in yesterday's ep, Al said he should be able to get away for a couple of hours.
So either Debbie is no longer in Scotland or she isn't Al's secret.

I did wonder at one point if he may be seeing a guy, but then I remembered one of our first clues to him cheating was that girly bracelet which was stolen and he pretended it was for Amba.
He wouldnt have bought that for a man. So I have scrapped that theory.

I had forgotten that little broken down car in Scotland scenario, so, well remembered folks. Very well remembered.

I actually hope it IS his ex wife if it will lead to him going back to Dubai with her.
I know he cant pop to see her for a few hours either but she could be back in the UK briefly.

His acting is just so dreadful, I long to see the back of him.

Of course, if its his wife and shes coming back to the show, I won't be happy.

He can't act so he needs to go.

Well at least a happy ending ( for how long?) for charity n paddy, but no no no, paddy changing his surname to Dingle.
It quite strange watching classic Emmerdale at the mo, paddy is with Mandy.
 
At the end of the Christmas Day episode, was that Vinnie singing "All I want for Christmas"? I know during lockdown he did some singing sessions on their social media

Is the Vanessa actress being written out completely or is she coming back after maternity leave? Anyone know?


TBH I prefer Charity without Vanessa. I don't enjoy watching them as a couple.
Im not that fussed about Vanessa really so I won't miss her if she doesn't return.

And I know Charity is messed up and all over the place at the moment, but I do find her to be very entertaining.

I agree i prefer Charity when she isn't with Vanessa. Their too loved up and I like Charity when she's all over the place and being naughty 😂 I prefer Cain without Morita as well. He's a bit of a drip and a softie when he's with her. He's better when he's a bad boy

As for Al & Debbie, once it was said and here and she appeared on the advert it was painfully obvious it was gonna be her. At the start of the Xmas ep when they made it look like it was either Andrea, Dawn or Belle just looked stupid. I did think it could be Andrea but as if it would be Dawn or Belle 😂
 
I agree Cain is drippy with Moira.
TBH Moira was a ruined character for me when she allowed her son to take the blame for a murder she committed.
Moira would have done anything to save her kids. So it was never believable that she would let Adam take the blame.
I'd be happy for Moira (and Matty) - oh and Mackenzie to leave Emmerdale.

And Killing off Vanessa suits me. Bye bye!
