And the fact that she was with the police having been arrested for theft but apparently they hadn’t searched her jacket pocket or made her remove the wig, where she was keeping the cash and jewellery

Along with all the other implausibilities with this storyline, Kerry kept on the Cher costume and all the money and jewellery hidden on her person for the rest of the day after she got back to the village. She could have borrowed some clothes from Amy to wear and she could have hidden the money and jewellery in her room when she first got home, but instead she decided to keep walking around with it on her for the rest of the day, which must have been irritating.

I know they probably kept her in the costume with the hidden loot for the big reveal near the end of the episode but they still could have done that reveal with the loot hidden in her bedroom
