My money is still on Gus dying. It'll be hard to tell though since he is so flat and blah.

We only just got rid of beige Amy's sister (I cant' even remember her name, Rueben's mum, too lazy to google) why instantly replace her with another snoring bore.
 
I am sick now of this Rhona/Gus story line. I just knew last night what was going to happen although I thought as she is walking out an Estate Agent will be coming in to stick up the For Sale sign. I was nearly right ;). I have been watching Emmerdale for over 20 years now and it is the only soap I watch but I have never known the story lines as bad as they are now. The plots have more holes than Swiss cheese.

Laughing also at Nate "we need an app" I mean an app for what?? What exactly does he do. What does Caleb really do to earn all his money. I thought most of it was dodgy dealings.

In real life I think the mitigating circumstances are numerous and significant for Rhona and I don't think she'd get a custodial sentence, even if found guilty (Leo having additional needs would also play a huge part in keeping her out of prison). There's no public interest in locking her up, shes not just some nutter who might go and steal someone else's baby. She's a vet, from a stable family whose husband is still recovering from a stroke. This situation was forced upon her and she had real concerns about Gus' ability to cope with the baby.

I'd tell Gus to piss off, he hasn't got a leg to stand on regarding the fraud. duck him, let him face the consequences of his actions. She should have recorded him covertly in the Hide/Hop whatever it's called and had him charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice too.

Can't stand Rhona but I dislike Gus more.

I know this is Emmerdale so he'll likely confess for no reason whatsoever, but how would you prove it from Rhona's viewpoint? She has no evidence of him breaking in or stealing her passport, no official records of him having a meltdown and abandoning his baby. Legally, she has simply stolen someone else's baby and then come up with some story (with no proof) that he's committed burglary and fraud. I'd be looking at putting a restraining order on Rhona if I were Gus.

Personally if someone came up with a covert recording of me admitting to anything, I'd claim it wasn't me and any similarity to my voice may well have been created using AI software or any sort of modern technology. Make them prove it was me and that the recording is allowable as court evidence.

Meh, I'm thinking too much over this bullshit storyline. I think we all can guess she'll be given the baby and it'll probably involve a rush to "Hotten International Airport" :rolleyes:.
 
I wish they made Ruby more likable and in with the Dingles can't stand Tracy getting the better of her , also she has got with away with it , never see any of them have a go at her , Moiras on her side with Ruby and she wanted rid of Nate anyway so it's worked out in her favour. Caleb is getting all the blame not that he hasn't brought it on himself but I'm sick of Saint Tracy! I know they're all pretty much cheats themselves but they can also be Hypocrites when they want

Wish they would. Some of these so called actors are bloody dire.

I’m sure when Caleb an Nicky arrived they said they were going to screw Kim over to get much needed money as Caleb was broke and also for Ruby who was so poor and stuck living ‘back home’ in a dive? Surely I haven’t dreamt that? 😂
 
I’m sick of Vanessa wish she would piss off and take Tracey and Rhona with her, such annoying characters. I feel the Belle/Tom tit storyline is going to get dragged out til Christmas no doubt also Angelica and that one bloody face she pulls, she a terrible actress not like April who is a brilliant wee actress. Sick of gus and his one facial expression to, god knows why I still watch it 🙈

God it’s just a repeat of faith and her story…. from the point of diagnosis this time- I agree she can’t carry this story- well thank god the evenings are getting brighter and warmer … that means less Emmerdale for me 🙏
