This is going to sound horrible, but hear me out, in the Belle DV storyline, the writers need to be using her schizophrenia 'against' her. Tom would 100% be gaslighting her sense of reality and creating distorted memories for her as a way of coercion imo.

I'm schizophrenic and had a past partner do it to me, after a couple of years with him, I had completely lost my sense of self and effectively had a nervous breakdown not long after I got free of him. He twisted my reality to such a degree, literally telling me I was hallucinating (or had been) to get an upper hand on me. (Don't really want to go into more details, coz, yeah, awful bleeping time of my life.)

Using Belle's illness against her would be a much more believable storyline. Especially if he drove her to need a higher dose of medication, anti-psychs knock you right off your kilter, thus making it easier to control someone.

It obviously wouldn't be pleasant viewing, but it happens a lot to schizophrenics.

Looks like they might do that eventually i think him getting her to talk to Angel is his way of bringing up past trauma so seems to be developing the abuse

PS Hope you're doing alot better now ❤

Can't believe Rhona is going along with Gus' bullshit. Just tell hm to duck off. He stole her passport and committed fraud to get his hands on their embryos. Then when Ivy was born he had a meltdown and ran off because he couldn't cope. Rhona has been nothing but an exemplary carer to Ivy.

In real life I think the mitigating circumstances are numerous and significant for Rhona and I don't think she'd get a custodial sentence, even if found guilty (Leo having additional needs would also play a huge part in keeping her out of prison). There's no public interest in locking her up, shes not just some nutter who might go and steal someone else's baby. She's a vet, from a stable family whose husband is still recovering from a stroke. This situation was forced upon her and she had real concerns about Gus' ability to cope with the baby.

I'd tell Gus to piss off, he hasn't got a leg to stand on regarding the fraud. duck him, let him face the consequences of his actions. She should have recorded him covertly in the Hide/Hop whatever it's called and had him charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice too.

Can't stand Rhona but I dislike Gus more.
