I have some insight into Parkinsons but not your husband's adjacent/ other condition ( sorry if I have worded that wrong), it is hard knowing a storyline may bring up feelings for ourselves or loved ones watching. I am glad your husband found some benefit and I am sure that everyone at Emmerdale wanted people to feel this.
I hope you felt better afterwards knowing it helped a little and was not to upsetting for him.

Now I would like to see an episode where the women get together with Chas and - without it being a shouting match - get the message home to her what she has done.

I know Bear gave her home truths a few weeks ago but it hasnt led to her doing any self refelection. She's still stomping about as if she isn't the cause of Paddy's breakdown.

I think she knows but is too much of a coward to take the blame and is just being angry with everyone else

Very powerful episode and really emotional. Extremely well done by Emmerdale and the male cast members.

Made me cry when Paddy hugged Marlon and teared up at the end. I think we’ve all been there in that hug at least once in our lives.

I think there is due to be another similar episode next week with the men. I think Jimmy might open up a lot more too. He also seems to use humour the way paddy does IMO

accidentally watched an old episode of Emmerdale this afternoon during my lunch break ( I know saddo) but the difference was massive
I know there has been Covid but in the old episodes the pub was full and the cafe as well with anonymous extras playing members of the public

Now it’s just the main characters in the soap in the pub, the 2 cafes or shop, the same characters who have no money but are somehow keeping two cafes, a shop and a pub in custom 🤔 🙄

Yeah completely agree pub used to be rammed with characters and extras, same on corrie

Blimey, Leyla sold her car quick to get all that cash. Also, how did she get so much cash so quickly by maxing out her credit cards. Never seen an ATM in Emmerdale. Likewise, she was "bundled" into that car and nobody driving about, nobody walking about. The thought behind these story lines are ridiculously laughable.

Anyone else hoping Caleb would turn up and "save" Leyla?
