I don’t follow this show closely anymore. I’ve always found her unbearable. In particularly during her Marlon/alcohol/Ashley saga.

I've been watching the classics and when she first arrived she appeared to be a bit dim and people pleaser, certainly not that anymore

Yes Laurel in her early stint has a really whiny speaking voice, really daft, not very streetwise as Nicola is teaching her to be more assertive and how to act to attract men and acting a bit like Peggy from Hi-De-Hi with her desire to be a barmaid (equivalent of Peggy’s desire to be a yellowcoat)

We already had the Emily character who wasnt streetwise or assertive at first.
We watched her confidence build.
Then they created Laurel and poor Emily was gradually eased out and then written out altogether.
I always resented Laurel for that. Then of course the awful Debbie Dingle arrived and like japanese knotweed got a stranglehold on the show which then became Dingledale.

Paddy's episode is going to be amazing. Obviously not in terms of the storyline!!! but the media and public reception, it will save lives. I had goosebumps for the last part of tonight's episode

I thought Marlon acted really well in tonight's episode, his facial expressions hearing the news about what Paddy was going to do were amazing I like this storyline, I really liked the idea of Paddy coming back to see how they all coped without him before he chooses to leave forever - really interesting perspective.

Last night’s episode was one of the best episodes in a while. Paddy’s story has brought out some of the best Emmerdale has to offer.

Emily left the village to become a vicar. It would be lovely if she came back to visit Paddy and stayed. I liked it when theylre were two vicars

Following on tonight's episode re Paddy's storyline it was just as good and heartbreaking and I could relate to many of his feelings. I hope and knowing Emmerdale they will follow through with storyline and Paddy have a realistic recovery time.

yes tonight's episode really was quite an emotional Rollercoaster and I am glad that Emmerdale is doing such a great job of showing how it affects everyone.
I really hope that this can save some peoples lives and get them to ask for help, it is not a shame to ask for help
