The show has lost the consistency of storylines and characters, I don't know when there was the last change of producer's and/or screen writers but think a change somehow is needed.

I know Sharon Marshall (from this Morning) has left Emmerdale as a writer. Fingers crossed we get some decent stories soon

Yes she was - Marshall worked on Fleet Street for 10 years and was the TV editor of the News of the World.[1] She used to contribute a weekly column No Sex in the City to The Sun. Marshall is co-author of The Naughty Girl's Guide to Life with Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, which was published by Sphere on 20 September 2007. She has also written episodes for soaps EastEnders and Emmerdale on occasions. She has written episodes of EastEnders, one of which featured the return of Sharon Watts. In 2010 Sharon released her book "Tabloid Girl", memoirs of her 10 years as a tabloid reporter.

I'm starting to wonder if Nicky's secret has something to do with his mum as he keeps mentioning her and how she died when he was 15. Did Kim have something to do with her death? However, I also feel like he's working with Caleb, so not sure how that fits...
