I really should pay better attention, but when the acting is as bad as it was tonight, my mind wanders off.

I know they are only kids and learning their craft, but, those playing Arthur, Cathy and Marshall cannot hold my attention.

What do people make of this Cathy storyline?

I suppose it’s showing teenage depression in a different way and maybe it will now go down the female autism spectrum line?
It would have been good to do the heavy periods with an adult , show them having to miss work etc like it did for me

I’m not loving the Cathy storyline. It was ‘sold’ as being about her periods but she spent a few weeks moaning about heavy periods, went on the pill and the heavy periods have improved by the very next one. Doesn’t really portray how difficult it can be to find the right pill when it’s being used for periods rather than contraception. She also doesn’t seem to be having any of the side effects of it which again would be more realistic - breakouts, weight gain etc.

Her mood swings/behaviour just come across as a bratty teenager being badly acted. I think she’s the wrong actress for this storyline but I don’t know who else they could have done it with because April has had so many big storylines already and there aren’t any other girls around the right age.
