I wondered this too, it’s a pretty big feat for a kid that age to even pick it up and aim it anywhere, let alone fire it but I guess this is soapland after all! I hope we get to see a flashback. Well done to those who guessed anyway 👏🏻

Belle and Paddy were at the Woolpack the whole time by the looks of it. Could be Aaron if Cain had him as back up outside incase things got heavy, but he's strong enough to just steam in and fight him off, wouldn't have needed to shoot him. Chas we saw get there after, but she may well have got there while they were fighting and then came back a second time to make it look like she'd just got there. Could be Moira and she's pretending she doesn't know what's going on. Could be one of the kids, Kyle or Issac walked in and saw a big scary man attacking their dad and paniced. I can only see Cain putting his neck on the line for them or Moira.

Or it was all just an accident and he fell on the gun at a weird angle! 🤣 but that would be a rubbish storyline

tit I got it right, even I didn't think I was right 🤣

Yay so Cain will get off now when it all comes out, and Kyle will get a slap on the wrist as he's underage and all will be well in Emmerdale again!

Fair play to the tattler that predicted it.

I’m going to guess that Kyle was playing hide and seek and was there the whole time. When there was a tussle for the gun, he got to it first and tried to hand it to Cain and accidentally shot Cain.

I did clay pigeon shooting about 20 yrs ago and had a big bruise on my shoulder afterwards. Someone would notice if it was real life. But as ppl have pointed out, Kerry still hasn’t noticed the empty wardrobe 🤣
 
Al was in my dream last night 🤣 He was wanted by the police for something and he car jacked my mum's car to escape from North Yorkshire while me and my boyfriend were in the car. We were driving through my hometown with sooo many police cars following us and shooting at the car and Al was saying how he wanted the police to follow him all down the country so they could kill him in Bath and bury him in Bath Cemetery (???) 😂 He was really charming and friendly despite what was going on.

(Sorry this isn't relevant, but I always enjoy reading about people's dreams with the thread people in them hahaha)

Such a mistake killing Chrissie off. One of the most complex villains in the show.
