Just caught up on yesterday's 😴 skipped the Marlon scenes pretty much

Chloe is still a witch , dont see why she gets so much air time

Cain asking his Mam to babysit then sulking like a kid without hearing her out first is pathetic

Don't get the drugs thing with Jai , he needs to prove Laurel wrong and tell her where to go

Not that I'm arsed about any of the above tbh, it's boring lately

But surely Marlon can claim some kind of disability benefit? He can't even walk to the toilet himself, so why all the angst about Rhona going back to work part-time, and the pub only paying him SSP?.

Mind you, I did laugh when Charity said that the pub was going through a "quiet spell". There are never more than 3 people in there at any one time, most of the village are under age, or recovering addicts, and those that are left are always being given drinks "on the house"!
No wonder they can't afford to pay Marlon 🙄

Exactly, in fact it would be quite refreshing to see someone on a soap getting the benefit payments they are entitled to and deserve without stigma or shame.
The likes of Emmerdale and Corrie only ever show benefits in a negative light, such as Les Battersby fiddling the system etc!
 
I’m getting annoyed with the fact Rhona and Marlon have no help financially or medically and it’s an irresponsible way of portraying it.
They had been doing so well with the stroke storyline but having his mates building ramps and paying for hospital beds etc isn‘t correct.

Wouldn't the vets be making bank too? Rhona would be on a good wage, definitely enough to support a family.

Didn't she get suspended when she was dependant on prescription drugs or something?
And end up somehow being Moira's partner in the invisible farm business?

His creepiness has been there for quite a while, long before the Chloe stuff. Remember he got a bit obsessive over Gabby? He went through her laundry at Home Farm and was fondling her bra when Will caught him and there was that time that Gabby felt someone was watching her as she walked home and it was Noah as he said he wanted to make sure she got home safe

True but they do like to give soap characters a personality transplant 😅 so they could've pretended that never happened

Didn't Liv see him standing over her when she blacked out drunk a while ago as well? Or have I misremembered that? Haven't watched in ages lol
