Catching up on the latest Emmerdale, meena has her work outfit on, beginning of episode..and then the whole episodes, besides to follow people about, hiding behind trees and listening in on conversations, does she ever go to work. At all

I know I get she's wary but the way she feels about his dad will be the exact same social services felt about her

No big loss as regards the character, but it looks terrible that nothings been done about the two people who were involved in the alleged mockery, their characters have gone one holiday, yet a young lad feels the need to quit his job because of it.

Makes you wonder what was actually said in this racism allegation if the Ellis actor is prepared to walk away from a well paid role over it! I can't think of any mixed race female with an accent though (apart from a slightly posh accent).
The actor is no great loss really but I wonder if they will re-generate the character again? That's 2 Ellis actor's gone in the space of a few years!

Yes this is very curious.
And there seems to have been no official statements made regarding this which makes me wonder if ITV have legal teams still looking into it and the actors involved have a clause in their contracts preventing them from making any comments.

Would love to know what the truth behind this is.

I'd like to know how Lisa Riley drops a couple of stone on Instagram, but on Emmerdale, she's a lot bigger with a huge chest and double chins. Does she wear padding as Mandy? How do they make her face so much bigger? I don't care how large Lisa is, but I really object to photoshopping. I know she lost loads of weight a few years ago, but if she's put on a bit it doesn't matter, but don't frigging lie about it!!
