I'm still so disappointed in season 2, where were the random men throwing themselves at Emily? Even the little brother lost interest with her.
Silvia seemed far less bitchy, no lines like "what should I wear tonight?" *Looks her up and down* "Not that."
The only way season 2 would have worked for me is if the flat collapsed or something and that was the end of Gabriel and/or Camille. But I'm macabre like that
, but those characters are so done.
As someone else said S1 worked so well with lockdown, S2 fell flat on its face.

Did anyone think Lily Collins looked visibly a lot slimmer than before - and she was already tiny. She was wearing a strapless dress once I think and her shoulders when she turned around, I feel like you could see everyhting. I know she has had an eating disorder in the past but wondered maybe if she had taken off weight for another role just.

Yeah I’d thought this too, the first episode I watched with my husband, and he had kinda watched the first series with me, and he was a bit like wow, she’s so much slimmer than series 1 (Btw not body shaming etc just was concerned regarding how small she looked)

I always thought she would have made a lovely Snow White!i'd heard of her before and actually thought she was a really good actress!i think she's the daughter of phil collins too

Guess what, our fav show to hate watch is renewed for seasons 3&4
Honestly, I'm going to continue watching it. Not holding my breath for Emily to be more sophisticated or Gabriel to be less boring though haha. As long as they keep up the fun, colorful nature of the show, I'll gladly tune in and complain afterward.

new seasons soon! I feel like if I just ignore the stereotyping etc it’s an alright show. I did binge it though and it was so trash that I just kept watching it lool

I have only seen some random episodes from season 1. I am French and I did think it was cheesy at times as well as portraying the French in a bad way sometimes. But it does have some good moments and I hope the follow up seasons focus on developing the characters than clicheing us all again

Unpopular opinion but I do love the fashion. It’s OTT and ridiculous but I enjoy looking at it, it is 70% of why I watch
The Carrie Bradshaw-esque nature of the insane outfits is it for me. I worship at the altar of Pat Field.

I think Carrie had way better style than Emily. Emily is way too "done" all the time - her hair is always perfect. Carrie was way more fun and natural with her style. Emilys outfits look like caricature while I always felt Carries style was very believable.
