I'm excited to hear the overexaggerated account of how her first day at college went

Did she drop out of the last college she went to?
I get the sense that she struggles with/doesn't like academia and this also won't last long and is probably a condition on her living with Jack that the mother has put in place. I don't expect her to last long if the living situation with Jack gets stressful, though maybe if she enjoys it and makes a group of friends it will go fine

It was a bit weird but understandable given that Jack’s dad wanted to talk to her about his brother or something

There were a lot of times Elphie would say something and look at Jack too which was a bit odd imo

Hopefully she gets some space once they move to the house properly but she’s going to have to be very mindful of her volume
 
Someone asked if she’s in a hotel room and she said she’s not going to confirm anything, weird

I think it must be a hotel though there’s stickers on the mirror, air con and signs on the door
