Been reminiscing on the Celeb Secret Gossip thread.

I absolutely loved it in 1992/93 and I've found all 159 episodes of Eldorado online.

I'm on episode 7 right now, loving it all over again. Anyone else a fan?

Fave characters? Mine were Javier, Joy, Trish, Gerry, Freddie and Roberto.

Fave storylines, Bunny and Fizz getting married, Freddie and 'Paco', Marcus the plastic gangster and Pilar.

OMG all episodes?! Thanks for the heads up! Fancied Javier but looking back I must say Roberto was a bit of a silver fox!

I might have to rewatch these - became quite a fan back in the day. I was at college back then and my flatmate and I watched it "ironically" but secretly we loved it.

I had to look Roberto up just now as couldn't remember him. I was 18 at the time and presumably dismissed him as ancient in favour of lovely Javier but I must say he looks much better through my 46 year old eyes. Javier now seems obscenely young 😳
Anyway, according to IMDB Roberto also appeared in Howard's Way (another amazing show) and Eastenders!

Two episodes ago, the saucy french woman (Arnaud's mum) had a white vest on with no bra, massive dark nipples poking through. I was like, what time did this go out in 1992?! 😬

He's aged well. In this link, from 7 years ago anyway.

I didn't know they were all on there, when I rewatched them there were only about 30 plus all the cast ones. Will catch up on them when I have finished Married at first Sight series 6 all 41 eps although I fast forward them a bit.
Less of the plastic Gangster about my Marcoos :)

I've been so stressed and unable to sleep but have started watching the series again on YT.
So comforting. I love it. On about episode 20 and Blair has gone missing.
I even love the bad acting (Snowy 🤦‍♀️).
 
Where are we all up to in it now? I’m on episode 7, what’s with that woman and her binoculars? Is she going to be a female peeping tom? And is Fizz going to turn out to be just a scam artist? I honestly can’t remember now what happened 28 years ago 😂😂

I really need to start watching this but I'm up to my eyes with work just now. I'm also just a teeny but worried it will be a disappointment, maybe best kept a nostalgic memory. At the same time though I'm really curious 😫
