Now that is a good signing, that makes perfect sense and adds some star power to the show with other big names leaving.

Especially when she’s never even mentioned her mum before. It’s not like she’s always been in contact with her and seen her mum away from the square.

There’s no need for a mum to come into it. Lola’s never been shown to care that much her mums not around. She has great relationships with billy, jay, Ben and lexi. Enough to show how awful this storyline truly is. Don’t see how a random ‘mum’ for her will help!

I can't believe she even put her name forward for the role of Lola's mother. She looks older than Billy, Lola's grandad, so how would that work??

I agree, why does Lola need her mum turning up now?

Nothing against Patsy but it would be better if she was a new character who perhaps was going to buy the Vic or something like that.

It actually says they’re nothing more than friends. Just a misleading title and that Charlie has been supporting him through becoming a father, splitting from Shona and stopping ‘hard partying’

Aww I like patsy kensit! Maybe she'll play something completely different to her usual as someone said upperclass type of roles. Lola may contact her mum to make amends before she died. Do we know why she left Lola as a child? Or if she was taken from her?
