Superb acting from Toby Alexander Smith, where was this at Christmas? Feels like the end of an era with this storyline being over but he’s come a long way from the Gray we were first introduced to!

Downstairs used to belong to that older couple. Can’t remember their names now but Bernie used to play chess with the old man and they formed a friendship, the wife died, the man died or moved away I can’t remember. Keegan and Tiff used the flat for a while until the council were onto them. Now it’s empty/we don’t know who lives there.

Tonight’s episode was satisfying. I’m so glad they didn’t go down the easy route of killing off Grey whilst letting everyone have a pop at him. Set looks great, felt like Grey was doing a really sweaty, panicky guided tour. I hope they show the court case, he could just confess to it all though. Seemed like he had no fucks tonight and was confessing to people left and right, hardly going to look good on him is it? What he told Karen lines up with the events of the night Chantelle died so I think with it being a soap they’ll be able to get him on that. For Tina they will have the dna and cctv, don’t think they will be able to get him on Kush but everyone will know he did it anyway. Great acting from everyone involved, even Whitney.

Remember the police are still awaiting the DNA results from Tina’s body along with any CCTV footage from the ATMs from the time he was withdrawing cash from Tina’s account so he could be done when those results come back

He’ll probably get away with Kush unless they reinvestigate his death based on Whitney telling the police Gray’s confession even though they already said all the CCTV around the station (and presumably from the train itself) wasn’t working
 
Who was looking after the kids with Mitch and Karen both out on the street?

How are Mitch and and Karen going to afford having two more mouths to feed?

Shirley looked like old school Terry Butcher in her head bandage....

I wish Gray had killed Chelsea as I still cannot take to her.

I get why he was taken away alive but him being killed so he didn't pay for what he did would have been quite funny.

So a storyline we expected to have a big Christmas Day ending has finally ended on a random day in March.

I bet the aim for this was Christmas, but set delays changed their plans... Also gave Toby an extra couple of months of employment!
 
Wow great episode tonight. I loved Karen and Shirley tonight they were brilliant, as was Gray.

I thought that Mitch would punch Gray at the end but it was good that he didn't really and we just saw his pain at what had happened to Chantelle.

The only bit I found a bit jarring was Whitless pursuing Gray then getting up close to him. I kept thinking 'keep back you idiot'. Who gets up close to a serial killer 🤔

I really hope that we do get to see Gray again at his trial and its not all off screen.
 
Danny Dyer I've given enough chances to, just cant anymore...he looks like hes smelt a fart in every scene,Wellard the dog was a better actor than him....I didnt know they now have a new set but that would explain Greys London marathon around the square to shamelessly plug the new set...some scenes were too stylish and used for dramatic effect like the scene where he turns at the same time as Whitney...she might have turned as she was looking for him but he would have never turned around as he didnt want to be spotted. When she screamed its him no one helped her even though he was the reason the place was swarming with police....also when karen breaks the window and screams for help the police should have knocked down the front door knowing she was in trouble....I feel in general the police are portrayed very bad and incompetent in soaps because it's the soap characters that get the role of saving the day...but that's not true to real life at all....I think if I was in the police I'd hate soaps lol
