That terrorist bloke that lives with his nan gave Aaron a phone to ring to detonate the bomb. Would you just not phone the number and get rid of it? I reckon it will be a damp squib and Aaron will get talked out of it. Although I do like the idea of Dana being killed off and it’ll turn Bobby bad again! I reckon there’s some good script writers on this thread! Better than the ones they currently employ anyway!!

I’m not sure why the guy went to all the trouble of sourcing the bomb materials, making and planting it, only to hand over the phone to someone who seems very reluctant to actually go through with it. This is a very poorly organised terrorist organisation.

I had the impression that Aaron was the ringleader of the group and this guy was taking orders from him (hence the attack on Keegan). But now I guess that's not the case.

It's on pretty early tonight so I doubt we'll be seeing any major carnage, although I really they could take this opportunity to kill off a few characters - Dana, Mila, maybe Aaron himself when he tries to save Dana.

I think a mass cull would be good. There is so many pointless characters at the moment!

As for the bombing of the mosque...it seems very unrealistic that a country that suffered for years from ira and muslim bombers would have domestic terrorism doesnt it??
Thought that was odd..
white supremacy and racism is something still running very rampant in the UK so I think it’s good they are highlighting it to raise awareness of bigotry against Muslims and immigrants. It disgusts me when watching Aaron and that racist mate of his onscreen

Did terry/Tom/Rocky die?

It would be cool if the bombing led to some kind of redemption arc for Aaron and he gradually starts to change his mind about some of his views. Maybe brought on by Dana's death. Then again I would quite like it if it made him change his mind and give Dana and Bobby his blessing and they all live happily ever after. Call me sentimental 😅
But I get the feeling the Monroe family have been brought in just for this storyline and will be hastily dispatched with when it's over. I'd much prefer some of the older dead wood to be killed off though.

It would be better if Aaron buggered off. Even his own father finds him arrogant and trite!

So as we approach the penultimate episode of 2021. Here’s a little trivia for you EE fans. NO CHEATING! 🤣

1. There are currently 7 murderers on the square. Can you guess who they are?

2. Only one former cast member has a higher kill count than Gray. Can you name that character?

3. How many biological kids does Jack Branning have?

4. Chantelle was married to Grey for 9 years before her death in 2020. How old would she have been when they got married?

5. How old is Kathy meant to be?

6. At what age did Dennis Rickman Jr father Alyssa?

7. What set off the fire in Phil’s house?

8. How many times has Sharon been married?

9. What is the real life age gap between Suki and Kheerat Panesar?

10. Tom Cotton’s real father Charlie had how many bigamous wives at one time?

Happy New Year 🥳 🎉🎊🪅🎎

Tonight’s episode at least looks more promising than the Christmas episodes. Hopefully it delivers. Really hope Dana doesn’t die! They should have used this explosion as an opportunity to get rid of the dead weight like Billy and Peter.

Should just blow up the whole square, kill off all the cast and start again. Go off air until the new set is ready and introduce a whole new set of residents in a newly rebuilt Albert Square.

It’s not the penultimate episode, it’s the last episode of 2021

My guesses to your questions I’ve put in a spoiler

1. Gray, Bobby, Phil, Ben, Janine (I can’t think of the other 2)
2. Nick Cotton?
3. Three - Amy, Richard (Ricky) & Penny
4. 19
5. 71
6. 13
7. Tea towel that Janine threw on the hob
8. Four - Grant, Phil, Ian and another bloke. Was she running away from this wedding on her last return to the show?
9. 10 years
10. Three

1. Janine, Gray, Whitney, Ben, Stacey, Bobby and Phil (not sure if Martin counts here as he ran over Jamie Mitchell and caused his death).

2. Lucas.

3. Jack has 4 biological children: Amy with Roxy Mitchell, a daughter with his first wife, a son with Sam Mitchell and his son James with Ronnie (died of SIDS).

4. Not sure exactly how old Chantelle was meant to be so I’m gonna guess she was 18 when she married Gray.

5. Kathy is 71

6. I think Denny was 12 when he fathered Alyssa, not 100% sure though.

7. The fire started with Janine throwing a cardigan onto the hob.

8. Sharon has been married 4 times: first to Grant Mitchell, then to Dennis Rickman, then Phil and finally Ian Beale.

9. She’s 10 years older than him (read it in an article a while ago).

10. Three?
