I’ assumed she was still in Peggy’s as it said she loses her job and try’s to get it back but Phil takes penny on 🙄
---

I’d take 1 for the team with him 😂
Now im not being ableist here (or Im not intending to be) but how the fuck is Penny going to manage behind a bar? She can hardly see over the top of it! . Can you imagine her wheeling behind the bat perving on all the blokes? Total health and safety risk there but it is Walford and Health and safety probably doesn't exist there. I hope I haven't offended people but come on.

😁 I was thinking exactly the same 🫠 Is there a lift? or just those stairs with the ominous Peggy?

It's not ableist to think that. Years ago, I'd just had an operation on my knee and was on crutches. I asked a Dr in the hospital for a sick note for work, he said you'll be able to return to work on crutches. I said I work behind a bar, how am I going to manage that. He said I'd be fine so I explained how I wouldn't be able to carry one drink, let alone two of three, carry food to tables, stock fridges, change barrels, clear tables and that my crutches might be a hazard to the other staff in the confined space behind the bar. This convinced him. I'd imagine all of those tasks would be almost impossible in a wheelchair

I’m watching the new Danny Dyer thing on sky, I’m only on ep2, but to me this is the part he should’ve played in EE a right cockney cunt, smoking, drinking, not giving a fuck rather been married to that melt Linda 😂 there was a scene thwhere he was out with a mini dressing gown on, I’m assuming a reference to EE.
Massod is also in it

I don’t think Mick would have lasted if he did that. He would have been criticised for playing himself which I think is what everyone expected anyway

I remember one episode a few months ago when she was in Peggy's and she said "if one more person puts me in their goods lift! 🙄" I remember because I thought it was quite funny.
OK so there is a lift, however I agree with @Cady1954 and @Lizzie Mintdrop that working behind that bar would be very difficult for someone in a wheelchair.
And what if there was a fire and the lift was out of order 🤔
It's a stupid storyline before it's even started.

That Dr sounds a right moron ok he has never done bar work but it doesn't take a genius to work out you can't do that kind of work on crutches.

I don’t blame Cindy at all, I think we all know what we’d choose if the only options were Ian Beale and Junior in a Porsche 🤷🏻‍♀️
And Junior seems to have acquired more suits as he's not wearing that old manky one all the time.

Two eps in (they are half an hour long) and it's quite good. Enjoying some of the humour, Masood I've seen once and Pete from Gavin and Stacey is in it too.
