And as if you would just get married like that within a days notice this storyline went Whitney is just getting more ridiculous by the day. Can’t wait for it to end and Brittany is a miserable character and cant act

They're part of the reason I've stopped watching (had mostly stopped already but when they and Eeeelaine arrived I never went back)
I think they’ve totally missed cast the character of Elaine and Gina and Anna turn like the weather on Cindy tempestuous relationship is getting ridiculous and rather tedious
---
I don’t buy into Whitney relationship with Zack it’s baced on trauma bonding

It’s all so forced with the knights - it’s obvious George, Gina and Anna are producer pets who they want shoved into the center of everything. It happens anytime producers create a new family that they’re hoping to make “legendary”. They try to short cut and get them there without it feeling earned through the characters being there a few years and earning history.

Rose could have been played by anyone but it feels like Cindy was brought back just so the Knights could piggy back off her characters status.

She could still have had the inevitable affair with George, it’s not like it’s out of character for her to get bored of Ian. It’s that she gets little to no screentime with the Beales - like every time she’s on screen it’s to run around after George or the other two with Elaine seething in the background. We’re constantly forced to listen to boring monologues about how they all used to be which I personally couldn’t care less about as I’d rather watch her have a storyline with the family viewers actually saw her with all those years ago rather than this stupid fan fiction we’re being forced to sit through.

And the acting is awful. I think Ian elevates Cindy’s performance as they bounce off each other. She and George at least clearly fancy each other and have good chemistry. The stuff with the daughters is just insufferable.

Yeah, I can. I agree with that comment. I liked Gina and Anna to begin with, but it’s the tempestuous relationship with Cindy that starting to becoming more and more insufferable to me
It’s either they do want to develop a steady relationship with their mum or they don’t they aren’t going to get anywhere by turning on her like the weather within every situation
I did agree with the acting perspective Cindy‘s acting and Ian‘s acting bounce off each other but I do think Cindy has more on screen chemistry with George who wouldn’t and definitely more entree chemistry than Elaine. I read a comment on Facebook saying the producers are obviously heading for away where Elaine gets written out to make way for Cindy and George

What annoyed me in todays episode was that Sonia couldn’t go because she was working and it was short notice, but the wedding was booked a couple weeks ago so surely she would have already booked the day off or swapped shifts
This also annoyed me it’s just all very rushed

NGL, Gina and Anna are starting to do my head in now

As if you would act like that towards your mum I know she did leave them for 10 years but aside from that she seem to be a good mum and they have some remembrance of a childhood with her. You would slightly be biased towards your mum anything not Elaine who they known for about a year
It makes sense that they would defend Elaine over their mum because it effects their dads happiness. They panic any time he disappears incase he goes off the rails like he did in the past when Cindy left their family. It's not Elaine they really care about. It's their dad

I genuinely don't mind Anna and Gina at all. After all we do need some young people in the show and there aren't many others in their 20s or 30s
Yes we do need some younger people who aren't annoying teenagers. I don't understand everyone's dislike either. They're not my favourite characters but they're alright. I still love George ❤
Elaine has grown on me but she's rather odd.

The fact that Whitless thinks Britney is her daughter now is rather dim. She's fostering not adopting her which isn't the same thing at all.
Didn't Britney have a brother in Milton Keynes? What happened to him?

That I understand that, but they want a steady relationship with their mum, but often turn on her at Every opportunity
It’s not like it’s all Cindy fault her and and George kissed it takes two to tango

I don’t mind Gina and Anna myself but they are getting jarring now

I agree that it's odd after wondering where their mother was for years they don't seem particularly close to her now she's back.

I think her brother went to his dads.

Am I the only one who understands the back and forth with Cindy and “the girls” they didn’t have a clue where she was or if she was even alive she’s now popped up and wants to be involved on their lives. As much as they wanted her in it they’re obviously going to be fuming at her and torn.
