Bit late to the party, but I had to share my “meeting an eastender story”. Well, I didn’t technically meet him, but I matched with Dean Gaffney on Tinder for the bants. He was itching to tell me where I possibly recognised him from. I just pretended that I’d never even heard of eastenders. He unmatched me pretty quick

Either it’s very nearby, or Phil was sat at the bar all day nursing his orange juice. Why is a recovering alcoholic always in the pub anyway?

Almost felt sorry for Eddie for a brief minute and then he was off again brilliant actor.
Why is jade at jeans? Surely her mum would have been straight back to pick her up or has she already gone out to Pakistan?

What I loved is how quick George saw Eddie, didn't even seem like they arranged a visit or anything. Also how can Eddie ban George from the funeral? He's in prison, can hardly organise one from there and he might not be allowed himself! The actor played him so well.

Just caught up on the last 3 episodes. Got to agree that George’s dad was vile but what an actor! The Gloria dying scene got me and as everyone has said Colin Salmon is such a good actor and a real asset to EE. Aswell as being ( loved him ever since I watched Some Girls)

I’m also chuffed Dean has been set up & hope that’s the end of the tit six storyline!

Also what was Billy’s secret? They didn’t tell us did they? I might have missed it though as I was distracted by thinking how the hell has Billy pulled of landing a 10/10 like Honey!

Just read that the actor who plays Bobby Beale is quitting. Am guessing his exit will tie into the Lucy anniversary. My guess is that it’ll be retconned that actually she was still alive and someone else killed her.

I absolutely hated that Lucy died, hated that Jane and Ian protected Bobby, hate the way they’ve tried to redeem Bobby since, hate that Cindy let him off the hook, and now this version of Bobby has basically done very little in years and he’s leaving again. I do hope they retcon Lucy’s death actually and make the killer someone else, I would really like a flashback along those lines but I suspect it will be a boring “in order to move on I need to move away from here” realisation on Bobby’s part on the anniversary, however I’d be delighted to be wrong. I wouldn’t mind Cindy being awful to him one last time if he is kept as the killer.
