She is Gary’s sister, which also makes her (the former) sister-in-law of Isabella Rossini. It was Isabella who thought up the name Laila Morse, an anagram of the Italian ‘mia sorella’ (my sister).

It still blows my mind that big Mo should be in her 90's now .

If Kat's say 53 and her dad Charlie would of been let's say 78 then Nan Big Mo would be what 99 if she had Viv at 21 or have i missed that the girls call her nan as just a nick name or is she not even their mum's mum, it's a weird one 😂

Mo is definitely Viv’s mum and It is a real weird one, Mo and Pat were great mates back in the day, although Pat’s long gone she wouldn’t be in her 90s though.
 
I can’t remember which way round, but either Mo was married to Pat‘s brother, or Pat was married to Mo’s brother. The age thing between Mo and the Slater girls has never made sense, she isn’t much older than Charlie. It would have to be something like, Mo had Viv at 16 and Viv had Lynne at 16 (is Lynne the oldest?)

That makes sense and is probably the reason why Stacey was dead chilled about Lily having her first at 12 when you think of it.

That's why I'm not convinced Keanu is dead and noone is under the caff. I know I sound like a loon, but hear me out.. :ROFLMAO: the six will never be able to live with the guilt, and they're all main characters so they won't be written out any time soon. A line will have to be drawn under the saga eventually so they can all move on guilt free. I reckon the police are gonna dig up the caff floor at some point this year to investigate and there's going to be nothing there! The bag will be stuffed with something else that stinks, which made the 6 think it was a dead body smell

Was she not Charlie sister?
 
The background story for Mo is confusing, as she used to talk about a daughter called Jean. But when a Jean did turn up, she was Jean Slater, the widow of Charlie’s brother. And I don’t think the other Jean ever got mentioned again. Over on DS they used to say this was so Stacey would be a Slater. It does seem weird that Stacey calls Mo Nan when they’re not even related.

And Bobby calls Jean nan too when I think him and Stacey’s dad would be cousins so it’s just a cousins wife. Nowhere near a nan

Yes, there is no reason for Bobby (Freddie, also too confusing) to call Jean, Nan.
He is the son of little Mo, so Big Mo is his great grandmother. I wonder what he will call her? And Kat’s kids are his cousins, even though Stacey seems to think he’s her cousin.
Mo is his mum, Kat is his aunt, Charlie would have been his grandad. I think that means that Brian was his great uncle?
The family trees in Walford are like a tangle of spaghetti :)
