Brilliant episode, really well written and fantastic acting from all involved.

Johnny is a right twat, Manchester's changed him, he was a sweetie pie before he came up here. He must have had some experiences in the village 😂

One thing that's been bothering me though is, why are the six always out and about and full of energy after the Vic closes. No one seems to query why they're going out after 11pm, if I went out at that time I'd get endless questions. Where are these perimenopausal and post menopausal women getting their energy from. I'm collapsed in my bed at that time.

I'm very surprised nobody has noticed them leaving the house at crazy hours.. Stacy and suki are leaving and no one in that big house notices. Suki and eve were literally about to shag and suki runs off. It was worse when Denise was leaving and every tom, dick and Harry were watching! I'm in my bed for 9pm and I ain't leaving my flat for nothing.

He's only trying to protect his mum, those other women don't mean anything to him. He hardly knows them and he's right that they would all throw Linda under the bus if the body is found.

Diane Parish has been excellent this week, hope she gets some long overdue recognition.

I don't think Letitia Dean is as good an actress as Diane so it was better with Denise having the breakdown rather than Sharon.

I read a rumour online thar Letitia's mum was taken ill which is why she suddenly took time off. I think her dad died not that long ago so perhaps that's why she disappeared. I don't know if it's true or not, but a family problem could explain her current absence.

Quite, a prisoner getting the mobile phone number of a detective to give him a quick call about his wife. Jack didn't see that coming but every time he is 'working' late he is actually working Stacey!

Fascinating what the prison service will allow these days.

tbh, i was kinda into the twitter theory that these visits were all hallucinations by denise tbh.

it doesn’t fully fit (especially not now!) but it did make sense as to how lucas randomly knew so many up-to-date details about her life.

but it was absolutely meant to be a sharon storyline i agree. diane parish has absolutely sold it 100% though.

There are some actors that I watch and take note of their acting, remind myself that the 'set' is so small and there are a gang of people, camera, director, boom, sound, all behind what we are seeing. She plays a blinder every time, it is all so natural. Then there are the endless scripts to learn which she delivers so well.

She has got better as the years roll on. Her teenage years were very shouty and quite annoying!
