I just see mad Moxie from AP when I see the Dad!
I’m scared about saying this incase I’m accused of racism, but here goes…Oh it will 1000%
I like how they're highlighting microaggressions with the comments about Gina's hair and mentioning skin colour with that person's mugging. Hopefully people learn from it but I doubt it.
Hahah I just realised that’s who it wasI just see mad Moxie from AP when I see the Dad!
IMO It's still a microaggression, but I think your post is a great example of systemic racism infiltrating our societies, because you weren't saying that to be racist, but I assume it was something you would hear a lot of non-white people say while growing up?I’m scared about saying this incase I’m accused of racism, but here goes…
So I grew up abroad in a none white country and would have not mentioned ethnicity in retelling a story (whether positive or negative) unless it was a white person ie ‘oh I saw a group of guys go through that door’ if it was none whites, but if they were white I’d have said ‘oh I saw a group of white guys go through that door’. Why? Not sure. Perhaps because whites are the minority there? No clue!
Yes I know Eddie is racist due to evidence and the producers saying it, but I’d just like to add that I would do similar abroad but doesn’t make me racist, but I’ll now be more aware of the language I use in the future incase it’s misconstrued and offensive.
Completely agree!I love this thread !! The fact we can all get on board with salivating over Philthy Phil, Ravi, Martin or whoever & then debate a serious issue such as racism with respect. I’ve found the discussions & comments regarding the farming story line, racism & micro aggressions etc interesting & I’ve also learned a few things too.
We’re bloody ace us lot aren’t we ☺
tbh those numbers are just us
That's totally different as you said it's you grew up in a non white country, so it's relevant to the story. I don't see that as racist at all. Just in this day, ppl do mention crime committed by black/Asian but they would never say they were white. I've seen and heard that many times.I’m scared about saying this incase I’m accused of racism, but here goes…

I think this is unlikely as in that case there would’ve been no need to tell George the baby farming story, they could have just left him thinking he was adoptedI'm still wondering if Georges mum slept with a black man and conceived george and maybe they kept him? I guess back in those days affairs were so frowned upon. The dad doesn't seem to have a connection with George at all it seems like, there's something off with him.
Couldn’t agree more. Tattle gets such a bad rep (some of the threads are a bit below the belt). But in all honesty, everyone I’ve chatted to on here has been highly intelligent and open minded.I love this thread !! I didn't see anything but I'm now intriguedHello all- first post on this thread. Long time Eastenders obsesser, didn't realise Tattle had a thread for EE but so glad it does hahaha.
Anyway- am I tripping or did anyone else see the EE socials post a 'duff duff' clip tonight of Phil crying to Kat about cheating on her??? I swear I saw this earlier tonight! I didn't watch the clip properly, I just put on the latest episode when I saw it as I assumed it was from that. Did they post and delete?? feel like I'm losing my mind here
I'm not sure but I really hated that scene with Phil and wooden puppet patsy. I really like Phil and Kat togetherHello all- first post on this thread. Long time Eastenders obsesser, didn't realise Tattle had a thread for EE but so glad it does hahaha.
