How do you know this! 😂 I love that you're so knowledgeable about easties...I've watched for years and then stopped for a while...got back into it on Christmas day last year. So love when you guys post past things that have been happening.
I didn't even know that little girl of Linda's was max's until the other day!! Haha.
He really is the squares top shagger 😂 hope he comes back.
 
Can someone explain to me the voice recording that Dean played last night? I wasn't watching it then. Thank you.

I didn’t know this fact lol. I thought there was some significance when I heard the song in the flashback so I googled it to find a link ☺️

George knocked Dean down the stairs in the Vic and Dean was threatening to have him arrested unless Linda admitted that he didn’t rape her. Elaine basically guilted Linda into doing it to stop George going to jail so she did it (not knowing that Cindy had talked Dean out of going to the police beforehand) but Dean had recorded it on his phone.

So a few weeks ago George slapped Dean and he fell down the stairs in the Vic. They managed to get Dean to not go to the police, but Linda didn't know this and she went to see him. He, knowing he'd already decided not to go to the police, tells Linda to "admit" to lying about being raped in exchange for his silence, and he recorded her saying it.
 
I've not watched Wednesday's episode yet but I echo the sentiments here about the Dean/Linda storyline, the recording, Gina going gooey-eyed for him, etc. I just think it's so dangerous and sets a bad precedent - it's already difficult for rape victims to be believed. I can barely watch it and the thought of watching Linda falling off the wagon and falling back into her alcoholism is already depressing me.

It’s a very risky storyline which is receiving a lot of backlash too with Linda’s “confession” leaving a bad taste in mouths. When that episode aired there were a lot of people online saying it was a wrong move by EE. They’ll have to bring in big consequences for Dean if they want to pull this off. Hopefully prison rather than being the body.

If CGI could bring back Princess Leia from the dead for an entire Star Wars movie, I reckon they could create a virtual Dirty Den for a few minutes. Or just show the back of his head as he gets knocked out.

Ross Kemp might have agreed to one more episode just to be killed off, so he could stop the Grant returning speculation once and for all. I don’t think he’ll come back when he’s got such a lucrative career touring prisons and visiting Afghanistan for Sky TV.

That was a good episode tonight
I loved the Sharon and Kat scenes. Good old Sharon with her quick thinking threats, you could actually see the moment the penny dropped for Kat. Of course Phil would choose to be with Sharon and Albie if he knew the truth. Talking of Phil, I love how he is getting to do a wise man of Walford turn now. Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes leading up to Christmas Day, everyone’s got a secret 🤫
