Okay so I've missed a few episodes...
Does an actual sexual assault actually take place or are the trigger warnings for Whitney's reference to being groomed by Tony ?
I agree with a previous post of it looking likely that what binds these women together is SA.

I think Rocky might be working with his ex wife trying to get Kathy's money. He might be the one on the floor? It doesn't really fit with the others being there. He is leaving so he might get killed off.
It's probably going to be Nish or Theo

I don't think he's leaving under good terms either if I remember correctly! A dispute over doing a Panto and just no longer enjoying it..

I’ve not been here since the 18th thread… whoops! 😅 I hope you slaaaaags have been well 🤎.
Oh my god, mum and I were shouting “they’re in the kitchen!” towards the end. We hardly ever shout at the TV 😅. I’m so glad Freddie found them, and it’s pretty obvious this is gonna form his upcoming absence for Strictly. Initially, I was convinced that nothing would get in the way of Theo’s attack. The way he was talking about wanting to ‘show’ their love made me want to be sick 🤢.

I sympathise with Whitney’s story, but I want her to be the dead person at Christmas 🤣. It would’ve been much better if they focused on Zack’s upbringing/life in yesterday’s episode. There’s only so many times we can hear about Whitney’s misfortune, and that’s down to the fact all/most of her storylines have involved some form of misery.

EE have done themselves proud to reflect everyday challenges of past abuse and trauma, and that it is very difficult to forget or overlook, and facing the fear is a reality, but it doesn’t take away the damage done.

I'm not denying that, not at all, it's just the doing it all at once with every single storyline, that's what too much (for me anyway) it's overkill to the point where I just don't even care about the storylines, there's no interjection of anything light hearted or any other characters that aren't victims of bleeping cunty MEN.

As usual, it's mens behavior spoiling everything, even when they're being called out on their tit for a soap 😜

Yes, that’s true, we need to see the softer human side and not pit genders.
Maybe like with Gray, they could have a background story for Theo, why did he become a stalker, attachment theory etc

For EE the trauma and betrayals are its bread and butter storylines, but so is the humour and one-liners, agree!

I’m not sure about that. The ex blocked them from getting legally married by not signing the divorce papers. I assume she would have wanted them to marry if he was after her money.

If it’s not Nish or Theo who die I’ll be very surprised. Nish doesn’t seem to be in it much at the moment though. They usually ramp up the evil before killing someone off.

Monday's ep has a lot of talk about Whitney's past abuse. Today's ep Theo tries to SA Stacey but Freddie walks in just in time.

The last 2 episodes have been amazing! It shows how difficult it is to convince people of someone’s wrongdoing when it’s your word against there’s. Although it is ridiculous that there are no cameras or anything around to spot Theo in a high crime area in 2023. Surely the Panesars would have them at least!

Also slightly off topic but why was Stacey ironing baby grows? Has anyone ever ironed a baby grow? I don’t have children but surely none cares about whether a baby is wearing a slightly crumpled outfit- especially when it’s going to be covered in puke or poo!

Poor Freddie was so worried he was like his dad. Turns out he’s actually just like Little Mo.
The fella that plays Theo is so good. He literally makes my skin crawl. Bet he’s lovely in real life.
I follow him on Instagram and he does seem a lovely guy. All the more credit to him for mastering that dead eyed stare. Got to be up for some awards when the time comes surely.

Did anyone see the article where Theo said some kids called him a nonce on a train? He saw the funny side and didn’t take it seriously
Yes, I did laugh and I’m glad he can find the funny side but you know how some folk are. They can’t differentiate between character and reality.
Wasn’t it the fella who played Richard Hillman who got whacked with a handbag by some granny😂😂

I’m not sure about Richard but Jake Wood was hit by an old lady with a handbag

If anyone tries to hurt my Ravi IRL 🤬🤬

I agree it’s too over the top and as a result it’s taking me out of the moment. I think they can make their point without having to to all A Very Special Episode on us.

Are they ever going to revisit the storyline of Suki’s hair falling out and feeling ill? Sure people on here thought she was being poisoned or something

Also did we ever find out what happened on the stairs? She fell/was pushed and nothing came of it.

Ravi also knew she was leaving because he hid the suitcase, yet he didn’t use that against Suki which is a bit weird.
