George and Elaine have no chemistry. None. As someone else said, she looks twenty years older than him. She doesn’t work as a step mum either, not when she has grandchildren older than Gina and Anna. Plus they have only been together just over a year, so what’s with all the talk of being a strong family/no one can break us rubbish. And Elaine saying the Marbella bar sale is ‘our money’.
I think it was pointless bringing in Linda’s mum to then make her focus on another family, instead of Linda and her children. She could be anyone, it’s not like they seem close at all.
It would have been much better to stick to the original plan of Linda and Sharon running the pub together, with Alfie still there too.

i found bex so annoying when she was there but i actually feel like there’s a space for her now. they’ve isolated sonia so much and culled too much of their younger cast. i would bring both her and cindy jnr back, even recasted (i know i was just complaining about recasts the other day but still 🤣)

I agree but maybe they could do a third reincarnation?😅 I was thinking while watching the classic episodes that they could bring back Vicki as the original actress. I know people found her annoying back then but I liked her! They could even bring back Spencer now Alfie's back although I don't think the original is acting anymore.

i really felt for the actress who played vikki - they made her do an american accent that she obviously struggled with and then randomly had her drop it halfway through. i didn’t mind her either, and again i think there’s a place for her on the square. i truly can’t remember if she and sharon were on good terms when she left though!

the original spencer is now a solicitor i think! i’d been down for a recasted one returning!

Have they ever said if Vicky and Spencer had children together? I remember Michelle 2 going out there, can’t remember if children were mentioned. It’s not beyond possibility that a couple of nearly adult Fowler/Moons are around somewhere.

I agree with all of this and I would add that the actress who plays Elaine is a bit of an old ham, really overdoing it with her facial expressions and hand gestures she is probably more suited to the stage where its necessary to be OTT in front of a big audience in a massive building.

Not at all he is the most attractive man in the whole area, Ravi looks like a snorting little shetland pony next to George and his masculinity yet sensitivity ........ a true hunk.
