If they bring Shirley back they're going to have to come up with a brand new interesting story for her and a good reason for her return. Bringing Dean back would be a big mistake as that would just bring her down.

She can't go back to the Vic now. I feel sorry for Linda Henry as she's a great actress given the right material and she just walked off with the dog and didn't get a proper send off, not even a bloody taxi!

The Vic currently has more barstaff than customers. I find it odd that the entire family is there all the time.

I'm surprised George isn't encouraging his girls to do some further education for another career or getting a job outside of the family business.

It reminds me too of when I used to watch Corrie, years ago, and wonder why the younger ones in it were content to just go to The Rovers, all the time, for a night out.

It was only as time went on, they would occasionally allude to going into town, or a nightclub or whatever.

Also, am I mad or did Karen have young twin sons at some point that we hardly ever saw? I swear it was a few years ago and I didn’t watch it properly then, only the odd episode, but I swear she had a pair of naughty twins, like Bert and Ernie (lol) but older??? If so, where did they go?

she did! i cannot remember their names 🤣

i’m sure i read that one of the little actors who played them had SEN and really struggled with the on set environment and so they wrote them out - i think they went to leave with their father in the show?

I just watched this, the day in the life’s they do are so good, it’s so interesting to see what they do. I have to say it’s not just the show itself that is at peak at the moment but all the marketing like this is really great- they are really curating interest. Genuinely this should be studied as one of the best comeback campaigns ever, I thought it was on its way out a few years ago
