Why does Alfie never mention his brain tumour? We never got a scene of him talking to Lola about his own experiences of it.

I think the stupid part of the episode tonight was Suki asking for a GP appointment in the middle of the day in our busiest city and being seen straight away when all the appointments would have gone 8am soon as the lines opened.

I'm surprised Super Sonia didn't swoop in and diagnose Suki on the spot.

Doesn't she own the surgery though? 🤣

Was the brain tumour part of the main show or was it during spin off episodes?

Alfie was diagnosed during the main show then I think it carried over to the Redwater spin-off but then it was never mentioned again in the main show

A bit like Kat’s secret son/twin brother of Zoe. Mentioned by June Whitfield playing a nun in the main show and then Kat searches for him in the spin-off then no longer mentioned in the main show again

Nurse here, they shouldn’t be 😬 you sure they aren’t mental health nurses? If they’re doing dressings and injections they should be wearing a uniform. (Off topic, sorry I know).

“Cider, cheese and chess” what the actual duck is Bobby on? 🤣
No, they aren't mental health nurses, just regular nurses. None of them wear a uniform. They aren't employed by the NHS, they're employed by the surgery, don't know if that makes a difference

Phil was truly incredible in tonight’s episode with the way he supported Alfie. I’m glad the writers didn’t morph him into a one dimensional character like Whitney. This sounds cheesy, but I hope Alfie and Phil develop some sort of friendship. It would be nice!

Let’s be real though - how tf was Suki seen at the Surgery in the middle of the day? Realistically, she would’ve had to call 111, wait for a callback from the clinician, and go to a walk-in centre 🤣. And how was Alfie seen so quickly at A&E with all of these tests/scans? 🤣 Starting to believe Walford residents use private healthcare hahaha

I remember how bizzare it was that Kat found out she had a son, found out about Alfie’s brain tumour and her dad died all within half an hour😂

redwater was like a fever dream tbh 🤣

weren’t there two male cousins in a relationship on that show too or am i completely confused? can’t remember how they related to the main plot though.

idk about anyone else but if I was Alfie I wouldn't be going down this bleeping dramatic route that was shown in today's ep. Just tell Linda ffs.

I wonder what's behind all this with Suki. I suspect it's them trying to show that not being able to be with Eve is physically harming her.

This Eve storyline looks interesting.

As much as I want it to be Vinny dead on that floor at Christmas I do like how suki can open up to him now. I loved her relationship with Kheerat. How stacy does not suspect Theo is beyond me, she threw Billy's name about but no not this man who has just turned up and gave her freebies.

same - i like the vinny and suki dynamic a lot. if they leant into his obvious insecurities about being the weakest panesar (and the least favourite son) i would find him a much more interesting character. the actor is decent too. he’s just so annoying 99% of the time 🤣

this theo storyline seems to have meant that everyone has had a common sense transplant. stacey is smarter/more streetwise than this!

Yes I remember that, there was a cousincest moment 🥴🙄 and no one was there to help when Kat and Alfie were lost out in the water (Redwater), that was madness ! 😆

Yeah exactly, given a decent storyline he could pull it off but he's just seen as the annoying son who wants his murderer father's approval. It also seems he is starting to realise Suki isn't happy. I blooming hope Martyn gives him a good hiding whenever he's back from somewhere random.

Bobby is so cringey.
He got dressed up in a suit and then took it off when he went out to meet Anna 🙄
Don't blame Anna for binning him off, he's so dorky.

Why on earth would L think she had any right to Mick's child? She's already got 2 small children to look after 🙄

Alfie is in denial again, I'm finding it hard to muster up any sympathy for him.

I agree with everyone about Stacey weirdly not suspecting that Theo could be her stalker.
It's the Summer holidays so why is he hanging around tutoring Lily when he should be off on his hols somewhere 🤔
