They might go down the mental health route as well which would be interesting as Stacey's mental health stories have brought a lot of attention to the different diagnoses and Stacey and Jean are brilliant at portraying their battles. I hope that they don't do social services storylines though as they did that with lola. It would be too easy and stereotypical in a way for a young teen mum to have social services taking the baby etc (I know that teen mums can be amazing parents...bad parents come in all age groups) but it's been done numerous times.

Sadly I don’t think they’ll realistically portray the issues at all. Lily will probably give birth in the Vic or something stupid like that with no medical intervention beyond Supernurse Sonia. There will be a couple of scenes of Lily getting stressed because she’s got exams and the baby won’t stop crying and then it’ll be kept in the cupboard/24 hour nursery. Chelsea has a baby yet it manages to disappear whenever she has Ravi over or a shift in the club.

But hey, if EE is still going in 15 or so years we can look forward the announcement that they’re recasting Lily’s baby as a sassy, mouthy teenager who’ll have an ‘explosive’ storyline.

Stacey only ever wears that one black corset, surely even pervy Theo must that a bit odd but then he seems the sort to buy used underwear
 
Anyone who thinks the character of Stacey is a good mum needs to give their heads a wobble. I think the writers were aiming for Carol (bianca’s mum) but have morphed Stacey into every single mum stereotype. After everything the character of Stacey has been through in her life you would think she would have the street smarts to outwit her dumb kid lily (ITS MY BAY BEEE MUUUUM) or see through the pervy teacher or even give her useles wife Eve a bit of tough love. But no we got Stacey sticking on a corset and turning to casual sex work to make ends meet.
