I really hope not Alfie can be a really likable character at times I went off him when he got hayley pregnant though then did not like fall down the stairs or something and pretend to be dead? I felt that bit was really random lol. They could make the dad vinny or Ben though 🤷‍♀️

Yes it was a classic Christmas argument by the stairs. Which always ends in someone falling down them. See also Tanya and Tiffany.

I can’t stand Alfie whether good or evil, but I really really doubt they’d go down the route of making him a pweirdo.

exactly. there’s no way it’s going to be an existing male character on the square (unless it’s someone they want to get rid of!) - like you say, it completely ends their character. you can’t come back from it.

That would be a good storyline actually...a slater hurting both of Jack's children would be interesting to see how Stacey could defend Lilly and Jack's rage with Patrick's wisdom for Denzel

Ah yanno I feel awful getting excited about Cindy coming back and who is lily's baby daddy I'd forgotten about Lola lying in that funeral home not yet buried! The Queen was buried quicker than her.
 
not sure how to add a picture spoiler but seen a spoiler saying that Alfie is having a major story coming soon that won't be comedy and expect to feel sorry for him. A lot of people on twitter think there either bringing the brain tumor back or its parkingsons as when he was at the pub people noticed he dropped a few things and got things mixed up

I really don't want them to give Alfie a condition that will result in a long, painful, death, but I think Shane Ritchie would do a brilliant job with something like this. My bet is on either MS or early onset dementia.

I saw that Alfie has a story coming up but no details were given. I really hope it's not another medical story as I generally hate them (the exception being Lola's death). It'll probably be Alfie going to desperate measures as he'll be facing poverty and homelessness now he's not working in the pub, he'll be back to dodgy deals that don't work out again.

Did Alfie ever have a single conversation with Lola about her brain tumour? I know they’re not related but it’s a tight knit community so you feel like he’d offer some kind words as someone who’d been through it.
 
Im just watching tonight’s ep now, it is completely unbelievable that George would go for Elaine when Cindy was his ex wife. Unless it’s a storyline where he’s fleecing her for money.
Also, obligatory post that Vinny is a spineless little rat. I really hope something awful happens to him soon.
