Jesus christ was thar a fox making all that noise? Glad I don't live anywhere near any. I thought it was someone getting murdered!
I live in London and there are tons of foxes around here. They make an awful racket at night and wander around quite unafraid of people. I'm only surprised we haven't seen one in the square before now.

I’ve just watched. I’m a mother and my absolute worst fear is dying and leaving my child. This absolutely broke me into pieces tonight. I’m on anti depressants and usually pretty zombified and don’t have extreme feelings but I’ve cried my eyes out tonight. I don’t think the pub scenes were necessary but the last couple of minutes was just heart wrenching.

I don't mind Sonia, or rather, I didn't until they started turning her into Dot. Dot being the Square matriarch worked because she had the connections to people. Dot had been in it so long that people like Sharon, Ian and Martin saw her as family, to the Brannings she was family and she helped everyone and she was old as time too and with that comes wisdom and she was respected. It doesn't work with Sonia because she isn't old enough and we haven't seen her be as vulnerable as Dot. I'm not sure if the writers could ever make the audience care for Sonia the way we did for Dot, not because of Natalie Cassidy but because they haven't done any character development with her for years. Even the stuff with Rocky was glossed over because they involved Kathy in it, rather than just focus on Sonia and the Reiss storyline isn't working either.

Lola's death, for me, wasn't as emotional as the episodes running up to it but I think it was a good portrayal of death, it reminded me ofy dad dying. He waited for me to get to his bedside, people choose when they want to go and Lola couldn't leave whilst Jay was by her side, that was very poignant because she didn't want to leave him 💔

Plus, Sonia is only supposed to be 38/39 years old! My friends of that age are still at the stage where they’re getting married and having their first babies. She’s not even what would be considered middle aged by todays standards. Why are they trying to get her to step into the shoes of a pensioner? There are plenty of storylines they could do with her.
