That was very sad but well done. I liked the swapping between showing everyone in the pub talking about her and Lola’s last moments with her loved ones. I don’t mind Sonia but Reiss is a bumbling idiot, I don’t know how she even has a conversation with him. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact Ben wasn’t there and will likely come back in tomorrow’s episode having just missed out on saying goodbye, acting like he’s the most hard done by because he couldn’t save her. Thought Lexi was very good throughout this storyline she got the balance of having to grow up quickly because of the situation and still being a little girl who loves her mum perfectly imo.

these are my exact feelings about ben. i was glad he wasn’t there because i think the scenes were improved by his absence but, like you say, i know we’re going to get “i didn’t get to say goodbye” on repeat for days now. even though it was completely his own actions that led to that it’s always everyone else’s fault and he’s always the most hard done by. we’re long overdue jay punching him tbh

lexi has been heartbreaking this whole storyline: the actress has come on leaps and bounds over the last few months.

I thought the morning sun coming through was really poignant. I can’t put in to words what I mean but I hope someone can explain my own theory to me 🤣
The sun coming up, it’s a new day, the sun rose again without her. I remember when my dad died, the morning after was beautiful and I thought then “he’ll never see another sunny day”
People coming out of their houses, the waking up, then cutting to Jay, Lola and Lexi made me so emotional. You just don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors, even the most mundane things like waking up and taking the bin out and somewhere there’s a family or a person saying their last goodbye. Really touching, EE did good x ps duck Ben and his impending tantrum tomorrow

.Very much a life goes on storyline, which in the face of the greatest of all unhappiness it does. Sorry to hear about your dad, it was exactly the same beautiful sunny morning when my mum died. To this day I don’t know why but as soon as I heard the news (I wasn’t present physically the hospital called) I ran out outside. I’d been staying at my mum’s place as it was much nearer to the hospital and I wanted to walk in the same streets where she had lived and walked and loved throughout her life,

first time commenting on here but wow i'm sobbing my heart out that was beautifully done imo. like someone else said cutting between everyone reminiscing about her and the family staying up all night waiting. others have said they find lexi immature but I don't agree I think her actress does brilliantly. when she wanted to paint Lola's nails got me like the spending one last moment together 😢 the fact she waited til Jay left the room got me and then the bloody fox finished me offf 😢😢

The headband is gone!!! 😂
Why did I watch that on my lunch break, I’m bawling 😭😭😭😭😭
I havent watched it yet but I'm feeling emotional and almost in tears just reading these spoilers. I think this storyline us one of the best of all the soaps similar stories regarding dying. So realistic. My daughter sat with her dying dad for a few days only leaving to shower etc and he waited till she had gone to pass. I had warned her this may happen so she wasnt upset

I think it shows how bloody irritating the writers had made her for all those years. I have never been a Lexi fan but she was great this last week and especially todays episode. The sassy little diva who was always singing and dancing was so annoying and in your face.
Absolutely. She had potential to be a great little actress just like lillia turner who plays lily

Don’t think I’ve commented here before but I watched this weeks eps as I usually just catch up reading here or on tiktok but my god those last 2 episodes ruined me😭😭

The actresses that play Lola and Lexi are so good, bless the little girl it’s such a big storyline for her to carry and I think she did amazing and of course the actress that plays Lola should win an award!

Jay has been of of my favs and the actor was brilliant too, all 3 of them deserve an award!

Don’t think I’ve ever cried that much over a fox lol

Full on ugly crying over here 🙋🏻‍♀️ I don't know what it is because I've never been emotional over a soap death but I've been so bloody tearful about this almost every episode it's been mentioned for the last few months 🙈
I had someone very close to me die in the same way (and the same age) and they’ve really done it justice. Despite the Ben bullshit they’ve been spot on with how it goes, and how it accelerates in the last stages

Honestly this will be the making of Jamie B. He’s been in the background for years (despite being excellent) but he’s really showcased his talent in this storyline and had so much praise in the media. I just hope they don’t end over using him like ben/Alfie/mick/Whitney etc

Also, I’m sure there was point a few years ago where Denise was in it pretty much every episode 😂
