I'm really annoyed by the bailiffs storyline. Why can't the Eastenders writers do a bit of research? Bailiffs can't take anything on their first visit, they can't take anything that hasn't been bought by the debtor and they wouldn't take a bleeding toastie maker. She is not conventionally pretty so she has done well to get herself on TV for so long the media is all for good looks these days even newsreaders have to be good looking and preferably under 50. If Charles and Camilla had to audition to be King and Queen they would never have got through.

I feel like it's so obvious that noone writing these scripts obviously struggles with money troubles. They try the we are so poor we can't afford food and to live storyline with Karen and her lot every now and again and it's always dire. It's so stereotypical and cringe... The kids need new school clothes but we can't afford them, there's nothing to eat in the house, another final demand bill hidden in the drawer .
