Eastenders #14 Shirley's disappeared without trace and Linda's mum’s got a new face

Why had lola suddenly stopped taking her little dizzy turns etc. I know she was having treatment and it hasn't worked and that some patients do seem to get better before they take a sudden turn for thr worst. But you wouldn't actually know she was supposed to be ill. One minute she was fine and then falling about and whisked to hospital and now it's like they've forgotten to show her really being unwell. A few comments about being tired, sleeping on the sofa and mentioned mouth ulcers is it.

about 10 seconds of screen time and I'm already fed up with Linda's mum
 
How does stunning Debbie having a stroke make lying Reiss actions ok??! There has been no build up to their relationship so I really dont care for this story AT ALL. Eastenders is so hit and miss lately, some storylines are great and some fall flat, rushed and poorly written with key details missing.

I would have preferred Sukhi not to be a lesbian and Nish not to be a villain and instead be a power couple who could run the vic.

I know he said 'I need to speak to my wife' the first time so perhaps it was staff? And the contact was 'Debbie (Care) Home' so guessing its Debbie's Home rather than Debbie's Home number if that makes sense.


Sharon was horrid today , don't even like Linda but she was so nasty. The lying was unfair but those personal jabs were really out of character for ar shaz

I vaguely remember him speaking to a carer? He is really quite creepy the way he turned up with the smallest and wiltiest bunch of flowers ever for Sonia.

Linda had been messing her about and lying to her for sages though. Linda's mum has a touch of Cruella de Ville about her.
 
Linda's mum is bound to be the new battle axe of the square 😄 and she's going to be moving in with her boyfriend and his kids.

I find it a little odd that Linda is happy to be sidelined by her mum who will take over and shout "get out of my pub" at regular intervals 😄. She would at least have been equal partners with Shazza.

I guess L wasn't too enamoured when she found out Shazza wanted to bring dumb Keanoo with her! 😁
