Fair play he is doing quite a job, if only he would let the 'actors' speak once they stop for him!!

No, they are not contractually obliged at all, they just stop if the whim takes them. I remember people standing outside the gates years ago and putting the pictures on various forums, well before TikTok and Insta.

Just watched him talking AT Aaron Thiara (Ravi), bless the actor he was so so lovely, seems he is genuinely a gentleman in real life.

Shona McGarty even let Petesecurity drive her car, what a hoot he is, yes a bit barmy spending his Easter standing at the gates, but if it gives him joy and entertains us, then it isn't harming anyone. He's going to the soap awards too, I almost cannot wait! 😁

I used to have the same opinion as you, until he’s been buying 17/18 year old Ellie Dadd gifts from Pandora and writing her a card. There seems to be no safeguarding outside of the gates and I can see this getting messy real quick

I'm actually quite fond of the Honey and Sam friendship they are trying to create. And please can the writers just get Suki back to the wicked witch of the square who it turns out we all actually loved to hate. In true eastenders style after a massive storyline, and on average 25 minutes of screen time per episode, Whitney and Zak are nowhere to be seen. Not that I'm complaing because it just got irritating and I can't take to Whitneys character. But they do this all the time, not even so much as them walking past on the market. Linda's husband died and after she came back she's practically been awol, Amy's self harm was built up and then it seems as though she's had a few rocky therapy sessions, Denise picked up her medication and all is almost forgotten about.

Also Jean's bedroom walls are giving me children's ward in a hospital vibes.

The reality is if girls got pregnant at that age, not all of their parents would be against it. There would always be someone who would react the way they have on the show so it's interesting to see from that side as well

I think it's important they don't portray it as a fairytale because it would encourage young viewers to think raising a child is easy

it would have been a interesting storyline to see Lily and Amy pregnant at once and how the two families different dynamics and financial circumstances had impacts

Definitely wasn’t a common thing when I grew up - I was 12-16 1989-1993

For myself and most of my friends it wasn’t shyness it was what was instilled in you about consequences for actions and also we were fairly clueless and still enjoying childhood even at that age

Certainly no access to contraceptives etc like there is no.

His latest video made me laugh 😆. Shona seems really lovely and takes it all in her stride. It’s just giving a bracelet to a very young girl which I find odd. I think Pete is harmless but as another poster has said due to the lack of safeguarding at Elstree, there’s a chance someone whose mentally unstable could come along and it end very badly. There’s a story that circulated on another forum for years about a girl whose obsession with Shirley Carter got out of control leading to the BBC and the police to intervene.

There was a girl about 12 years or so ago who was given an ASBO for stalking one of the cast and hanging around outside the studios, I looked on Google but can't find anything about it.

@don'tStart You've sent me down a rabbit hole now. There was definitely a girl with glasses who stalked one of the female cast. I think it was Rita Simons or Samantha Womack or maybe Charlie Brooks or Jessie Wallace...Google is proving fruitless.

I have been to the Elstree studios myself, at the old entrance. There was a sign saying anyone stood outside would be asked to move on but no one bothered us. We never saw any of the cast sadly but did see part of the Queen Vic. I don't know if I would approach the cast or not, they might not want to be marooned by fans. If they seemed to want interaction, I would give them it.

I would just love to watch them going about their business to see what they are like in real life. Imagine living in that white house next to the entrance, I would be a proper curtain twitcher.

I’ve told the story on here a couple of times before but on another forum there was a user called Monalisa and basically she was a Shirley Carter obsessive. She’s one of those fans that always attends any award ceremony where the actors would be present. She always used to inform everyone on the forum when she was going to either the NTAS or she would post photos of herself on the forum after she’d waited at the stage door for actors when attending the theatre (she obviously had mental health issues). The story has several variations but apparently one day, she went to Elstree and it all kicked off resulting in police intervention and the BBC getting involved. To this day, the girl can’t watch Eastenders because she gets too invested in it. Probably for the best, otherwise I would dread to think what would’ve happened if she watched the episodes last Christmas when Shirley left 😂. I haven’t been on the forum for ages so I don’t know if anything else has gone down since then.

Due to the fact, I knew this girl’s face from when she would upload photos of herself to the forum, I recognised her on Twitter recently when she was defending Phillip Schofield of all people 🙄.

I’m pretty sure the story is talked about in the old DS threads on here (I don’t know which thread though). I’ll provide links to them down below:
